The Medicine Wheel: a card game of elemental cycles and sowing seeds for a points-gathering harvest

This week I'm posting two videos of Summer Games - suggestions for your summer game nights with friends and family. This is part 2 of my Summer Games promotions-a card game called "Medicine Wheel."
This game was inspired by the concepts behind the Anishinaabe people's ancient traditions.
It's a set building card game, but the feature that sets it apart is a mancala-like "sowing" of cards around the table. This can be done to win sets using other player's cards, or to set yourself up to reap a bountiful harvest in a future round.

What are your most favourite peg and board games? You don't have to make it a top-ten, which everyone else does, just the best ones you would take to a desert island with your partner.

On player 4's turn, could they have played the wild card on the black one in their tableau then sown the black from the resource pile plus the three in their hand to make a set?
