Johnny has no evidence to back up his claims here. In the autobiography "Mustaine", Dave tells exactly where he got the name Megadeth. He was riding on a bus when he saw a pamphlet in the ground, picked it up and started to read. It was an article written by a politician that said : "the arsenal of Megadeath can't be rid, no matter what the peace treaties come to."

What Z is saying is Megadeth ie. Mustaine, didn’t trust Megaforce ie. The zazula’s. Johnny heard that Dave thought his booting from Metallica was Johnny’s influence. Johnny here is saying it was nothing like that. That they liked Dave and wanted to sign Megadeth. But Dave had it in his mind not to trust the Zazula’s. Johnny here is saying it was nothing like that and he wanted to sign them up.

thats wut these dudes r saying, but just going off wut i heard in the megadeth behind the music was that he read the word megadeath in a speech that some politician did, removed the second A and named his band that. but ya i really wouldnt know its just from the behind the music

lol...he did not name the band "Megadeth" to *harm* Megaforce... Megadeth was the original title for "Set the world afire" and it was basically about megadeath and you will hear dave sing it and dave just decided to rename the song to "set the world afire" to name the band Megadeth.

Look folks , Dave would try to pin anything he could on anybody or anything as to why he was fired from Metallica . But the truth he would never reveal . He has just always been a Scorned , Jealous , Delusional , Schitzo Deluxe , Harvey Two Face . The guy basically will tell something that is probably factual half of the time , but then out of the other side of his mouth embelish , exaggerate , and make up outlandish claims constantly to try to smear Metallica , or their associates . The guy just contradicts himself at nauseum . This is the craziness he has said for years . He will basically say he doesn't hate anybody , then says he hated those guys in Metallica when he was fired , and wanted revenge . Then he has said repeatedly that James was just a Singer when Dave showed up In Metallica , which is pure laughable fiction . So , James just all of the sudden became a Down picking maniac genius singer / guitar player overnight after Dave showed up ? Bwahahahahahaha , Uh sure Dave . Then Dave says Lars is a horrible drummer . Just ask any Heavy Metal drummer that wants Lars' job 😂 . 125 Million Metallica Albums sold Worldwide says otherwise with Lars being a KEY Composer / Producer in the band arranging the songs , and iconic Drum arrangement sequences / timing . Then Recently Dave said he liked Ron McGovney , and that Ron was a talented Bassist that had potential to go far which is laughable . Dave hated Ron . Dave said 20 years ago that Ron was not Dangerous enough to be in Metallica . It was like 3 Men , and a baby with him in the band . Dave has trashed Kirk Hammett for 38 years on all levels personally and professionally . Now Dave claims they have a Friendship ? WTF ? On what basis ? Then he claims the best thing Metallica did was firing him . Metallica was holding him back . Then he says he wishes he could have been in the band as they were getting bigger in popularity in the 80s ? WTF ? Which is it ? Megaforce had ZERO to do with Dave being fired from Metallica . James , Lars , and Cliff wanted Dave out of the band for a while before they ever left for NY in 1983 . Here are some KEY reasons Dave was fired . Dave has claimed James kicking Dave's dog off of Ron's car was the major factor of Dave's firing which is just one of many reasons . Dave just didn't want to be part of a family / brotherhood in a band . He wanted the band to be a business with him being the top earner / leader in reality . James and Lars weren't having it . Dave claims Glam Metal was Gay L A Metal that was all about sex and men wearing makeup to get the chicks , and that he despised that . But then Dave turns around and composes a sexual Glam Metal song with Sexual inuendos in it like the Mechanix which James and Lars were trying to steer clear of . Notice Metallica has never made a sexual inuendo song since Dave hasn't been in the band . Dave was a hothead . He couldn't turn the Rockstar image off after the job was done . He was a heavy Drug user , where as James Lars and Cliff were more boozers .
