26:23 the Leeds fan at Birmingham wasn’t stabbed to death. He died due to a wall collapsing and crushing him. A 15 year old boy. Same day as the Bradford fire disaster which is why it doesn’t get the publicity that it should have done.

The wall collapsing at Heysel actually helped the fans that were crushed in the corner of block Z, due to it releasing the pressure of the crush.

It's probably on this channel but KZbin blocks them. Often it's more memory hole that memory restoration here hence the need to upload across multiple platforms viz archive.prg

There was televised football for the first half of the 1985/86 season, just not in this country. Games would be televised for overseas broadcasts. So games were still shown live abroad.

All these matches are on a video called Soccer '85, presented by Brian Moore. It's on KZbin. The first match was Spurs v. Watford on 17.8.85, then Arsenal v. Man Utd. a week later, & a week after that, the West Ham v. Liverpool game. It went up to early December. I think the last match was QPR v. West Ham on 7.12.85.

I would suggest the first men to change football were the guys working in a timber yard near Everton's ground in the 1880s. By putting up planks of wood, they built a wall, and so the club could charge people to watch what was beyond that wall. That transaction was absolutely vital to everything that has proceeded it.

the footage used at the start of the documentary was acutally Chelsea and Spurs fans rioting on the pitch during a key relegation match in 1975 that Spurs won. Nothing to do with Manchester United or Villa.

Absolutely my friend. Couldn’t agree more. Use to watch football but now I can’t stand it. Only watch the old stuff now.

@@bottletree33same here. The rubbish today isn't proper football. Obscene amounts of money and computers deciding games isn't what I want to watch. Along with players that cry when they have their hair messed up and grounds that are sterile boxes with no atmosphere. People start moaning if someone swears!! Ridiculous.

Football needed modernising but not what we have now. The Glazer would not have known where Manchester was on a map untill their investment advisor told them there was insteresting soccer club in the city.
