Actually according to the Tradition, many many years back, women who mensurate are secluded in a room. This was done because, during "that" time a women's body undergoes a lot of changes. So they told her to rest and told them not to do any hard jobs. After years of revolution, this thing totally changed. They completely changed the reason for secluding a women during her period. They began to seclude thinking this was dirty. However, this thing has changed in many parts of India and Nepal. But it is disappointing to know some remote villages still follow this. ( Tradition years and years ago did that for the goodwill of a women. But the evolving years changed that completely) :(

Women's rights are a huge problem in Nepal. It is not just the Hindu religion, but the tribal cultures spanning back thousands of years. In many areas of Nepal women are treated as little more than property. Their laws are fairly progressive but their government is still weak after decades of political turmoil and a bloody civil war that only ended about a decade ago. This makes the laws difficult to uphold. In rural areas the police are underfunded, undermanned and too busy fighting bandits to be able to uphold laws against these kinds of traditional practice. Arranged marriages and child slavery are still common practice in some areas as well, along with regular violent attacks and rapes of women and children. But the answer is not to heap abuse on the entire country. We need to recognize that all cultures once had practices like these. Change is happening in Nepal now. Younger generations are becoming increasingly aware that such practices are not acceptable. The key is always in education. If we want this to end then we need to support schools in rural Nepal and other poor countries where similarly inhumane practices are rife. Nepal also has a complete lack of midwives. The British Royal College of Midwivery is developing a partnership with a growing group of midwives in Nepal. They will help to educate women about the realities of reproductive health and form community structures which can support women who are being abused. If you want to help end this practice then lend your support to one of the many charities which work in Nepal to promote education, women's rights, healthcare, community development, etc. We can make a difference

Do a hebriac study on the New testament, Jesus Yeshua was the one who wrote that law and he said not one jot or tittle would pass away from the law till all is accomplished. And not all has been accomplished yet. Jesus is not back yet. It even says there will be animal sacrifices in the millennium kingdom. Thereplaces in the new testament where Paul tells us to keep the feast of Passover, and says sin is transgression of the law of God. Study it in it's context and you can't take a book written by Hebrews for Hebrews and put gentile concepts in it. Jesus is not even his name, and he said the law is forever. The sheds is disgusting, but the idea behind this, preventing sexual activity while the uterus is especially vulnerable for infections, is obvious. Perhaps they should try harder to find a better solution than having someone in the sheds, even when that might be economically difficult for people who live so basic life. Isn't that one of the occasions where a state should try to get involved with programs to help to get rid of the situation where people have to sleep in sheds by developing and offering alternative solutions?

I'm watching this in bed. I sneezed and now my sheets are stained. I love being a girl😂.

Am I missing something their culture says that they have to be in a separate room not in the cows shed so why are they not just in a separate mother-in-law Suite type deal?

If my boyfriend could do this he would put me in a shed too because I’m a demon when I’m on my period. 😆 All I ask is that I have my ps4 and a bag of brook side blubbery dark chocolate and the shed to be in livable condition

الحمدلله على نعمة الاسلام. Thanks to the god who made me a muslim 🙏 I hope they get out of that poor condition soon 😢. No woman or child deserve to live in a shed, specially because of something so natural and beautiful.

Periods are natural, but they're not beautiful! Bloody painful, agonising and messy. Just sit in a hot bath for a week.
