I just watched a 120 year old piece of film and it was completely engaging and more interesting than most of the nonsense I see on current TV. Melies was indeed an artist.

@@librarian66 so real 😭 nowadays there are only teen things and idk, boring things… personally only animated series now get me. but this little, with this music, with this beautiful and elegant atmosphere is the best thing ever, netflix and other platforms will never reach such art unfortunately

i was just talking about him.. wow.. I saw the fake moon video he made a was like omg, the moon landing was fake, this proved it in 1902. :)

the fact that a 120 years old film is more interesting and has more beauty than the… things we see nowadays on platforms is very telling, i don’t think humanity will ever reach again such things
