Fun fact about the star iris shots: They're used to close out a storyline/arc usually. Often when they aren't used, the plotline is continuing on the following episode.

Garnet's acting as the current leader of the Crystal Gems, compartmentalizing her own fears and trying to project confidence for the benefit of the others (esp. Pearl and Amethyst). Obviously, GAP know what Lapis's warning portends, and now they're facing a Gem Homeworld that's 5000 years more advanced than during the rebellion, without an army or even Rose Quartz to help them. Steven, on the other hand, only sees how sad and upset his friend Lapis seems. Steven's last words lampshaded the care that Sugar & co. took in creating the steadily progressing storylines. Buckle up!

Fun Fact (I don't know if this counts as a spoiler for Garnet's powers) : When Garnet looked focused on something and closed her fist after hearing Lapis's warning she was actually looking into the future with her vision power for a moment, that's why she looked reliefed after and said "we did it".

I know this is late, but one little fun fact about this episode is that during the credits, the music slowly becomes consumed by static and audible distortion, paying homage to the events that took plae in this episode. It might be worthwhile listening the credits of the next episode too...

There is a video that is about the information types and it's Analog, Digital and Quantum which helped me understand it better and Analog has a very different function than Digital and there's a purpose for Analog, an edge it has over Digital.

Believe it or not, garnet and amethyst actually get along with and like Greg. Garnet is just antisocial and amethyst...we saw the complicated part of their past but their still friendly

I really think this and adventure time will become ur favorite cartoons. (Plot wise) Cause gumball wins against every cartoon in comedy hahaha Steven universe was apart my childhood so every time I hear the songs I get a little emotional and nostalgic. Also..many people from the fandom may be extreme or toxic but speaking for myself, I only want to watch new people/yourubers experience the same amazing show I experienced ❤ Ps: CAREFUL WITH USELESS KIDS AND THEIR SPOILERS

Oh yeah you should go back to Fusion Cuisine when Alexandrite falls apart, there's something with Garnet's form in that light that isnt put there as an error, it is gonna play a part in the future or do it after.
