I totally agree no game has done the 8 to 16 bit transition in one game. I wish the creators of this game would have made a sequel or even an entirely new game with the 8 to 16 bit stuff..instead they are making an turn Based RPG =(

Really loved this game when I played it. Tons of fun, and I did get 100% of the collectables. I wouldn't say the upgrade is "trash", it's a good upgrade, but I can see why it might not feel worth it. For me, the enjoyment was doing all the super difficult areas which require you to use all your movement abilities, by far some of my favourite parts. The New Game + is super cool, you can play over and over with harder difficulty, but each time you get to keep one extra ability (which open new areas like a Metroidvania). Probably not great content for a KZbin video, but I would highly recommend it for anyone who enjoyed the game. The DLC is fun too!

HAH wow you mentioned the emote of Quarble! for anyone wondering, it's the streamer Peeve's pvpNote - he's an ooooldschool dark souls streamer (still does from game stuff but is more variety now.) he fuckin loved this game that much, and who can blame him. it's awesome and yeah SO MUCH longer and more insane than i think anyone expected. you can tell a lot of love went into it. glad you finally played it indei!
