Girl, Black men been marrying White women since the 1600’s. It wasn’t something to get crazy about until Reconstruction; after slavery, everything became about keeping the Black man away from White women but before then they were tolerated. Ain’t that a trip? I’d always read they’d be lynched way back in the day, but once again it only became a thing after slavery was over. Interesting story! Side note: at the 9:30 mark, you can see the headlines for a 1950's femicide story. The headline reads "Kills Wife, Self, Because of Unemployment." Things never change.
@TisHotMessHistory2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lynn B.! These old JET magazines are FILLED with black femicide stories. I will eventually get around to covering those too. I read the story that you commented on. The sorry SOB was only able to work 2 to 3 hours a day at his job. So he told his brother that he was going to take out his wife and then he did it. There is another femicide story right below that one if you check the same time stamp. An "educated lame" at Howard University killed a student because he wanted her and couldn't have her. So he shot her on campus. He literally shouted "If I can't have her, nobody can" before he shot her. Like you wrote, things never change.

In the movie "Mandingo" starring the late HW boxing champion Ken Norton and the white actor name Chuck Conner's from the old weekly Western sitcom called "The Rifleman". In the movie the white Massa's wife got the hots for the Black Mandingo and started giving it up to him while threatening him to do her or she would lie and say that he had been making passes at her.. Anyway, she became pregnant and the baby arrived before the white Massa's eyes from between her legs with caramel skin and little woolly baby fine hair. The Massa made her drink a "Poison Drink" and later filled a tub full of boiling water with the Mandingo standing near the tub while he was held a shotgun in his hand ordering Mandingo to get into the boiling water. The Mandingo said to the white man "Naw Massa, I ain't getting in that tub", and that was when old Massa blasted him with the gun which caused Mandingo to fall into the boiling water.. That movie is FREE right here on U-Tube titled "Mandingo" filmed in the 1970's..

I like your videos. They are very entertaining, but I don’t like cliff hangers. How much time did the black man get? How much time did the white lady serve? Did her husband divorce her? And what happened to the black man’s wife? Yeah I’m gonna skip the next video. My brain has too many unanswered questions. Much success though❤️💯❤️

You do great (and very unique) work here, and I appreciate it. My biography subject Barbara Payton was a talented and gorgeous blonde and blue-eyed actress in Hollywood in the 1950s, and she was sometimes mentioned in the pages of Jet magazine. I hope you'll consider doing a video on her. Thanks again for your very interesting videos.

Never like me, however how hard working was Mrs. Rose with 4 children. Mrs, Rose was @ the shack of the hired help then how was she making the bed @ her house (contradiction). Mrs. Rose had a lot time on her hand. She was unfit beating on her 4 children while doing the most important job on this planet & barely feeding her family. No excuses for Mrs. Scott either because two wrongs don't make a right. If her side piece was taking care of her she wouldn't have snitched on her hubby & would have paved a better way for herself. 10 years of lockdown for Mr. Scott for a piece of tail is a lot especially since it wasn't rape but consentual between two consenting adults. However, the Jim Crow Laws were still effective especially in the south. The Justice System is still blind in more ways then 1.

Love is so strong you cannot force it upon somebody. You can't stop someone from loving somebody no matter what their race is what the circumstances are or what the reasons are. Hate is easy love is undeniable.
