Just a correction, they're a pop group. They don't sing in Korean.

I totally agree with Bang Sihyuk's comment on star power, JYP too has been saying this for many years but no one criticized him (the double standards 😒). People with star power are the real stan attractors and training them can improve their skills too but you can't put star power in a talented person. It's facts but some k-pop stans are too dumb to understand that 🤦

I think their debut did well. Now all they have to do is doing well with the fans.

The tests, trials, and hardships they experienced during their training will strengthen them. Remember - the industry they`re in is not kind.

I mean idk because I haven't watched the documentary but if Manon really didn't take practice seriously and missed classes on purpose then nobody did her dirty she did herself dirty...

This was nearly a long time ago, thank you for bringing it out to life but i hope people keep in mind that they've completely matured now and not hurt our girls. Although they aren't a KOREAN pop group, I'm willing to give them a chance so far, their concept and songs r rlly cute!

‘Hybe’s shady actions’, nah it was just good and intentional marketing - throw in a little drama that kpop stans will generate think pieces about to draw in the actual western casuals who will get curious watch the documentary to see what the bullying is about, be puzzled at what is the big deal with a normal conflict in bootcamp and then get interested in the group after. And it paid off.

0:47 Bang's star power comment is just a pathetic attempt to defend Le Sserafim in some way. His company is just lucky to have excellent producers for their pretty but otherwise mediocre idols. And they control a large fandom initiated by the success of BTS. If most HYBE groups had debuted in smaller entertainment agencies, they definitely wouldn't be as successful as they are today.

unfortunately I 100% see them fizzling out within a year, two max. the general public in the west isn't super interested in groups anymore, and have less interest in a manufactured group. western Kpop fans will like them because they're a Kpop styled pop group but I don't see them finding long lasting success.

It 95% depends on the music. If they release good music, they’ll do well. The same was said of Little Mix but they consistently released good singles and so did well.

Not True at all… I see the STATES loving classy pop music. Tired of the vulgarity and cussing. Talented new Artists are a big draw. 🤔🎶🤍 👍🏽🇺🇸

I’m sorry but for me the comment that Bang Siyhuk made it totally valid. Because when you don’t a have a specific talent for if you are not naturally talented in dance this person can train and become a really good dancer. But if you don’t have Star power you just don’t have it. And no training will be able to govern that to you. So on this one kpop fans were just being dumb. Because with the way the industry is structured not just K-pop . But the industry as the whole having talent don’t matter and what really matters is that special something because look at Ice Spice this girl have no talent but she is popular . Why ? Because Ice spice have the Star power that other really talented don’t always have.
