Alright karl, out of the air drive 3, the cuetec propel, and the predator sir rush. Which do u like most? Even with the little you used the ad3
@ratzus7774 ай бұрын
This is THE question
@rs2374 ай бұрын
I've tried all 3. My main jump cue is the propel, but the ad3 is a better jumper overall. But best value for money is the propel
@rs2374 ай бұрын
@zanethind no I don't. But I've tried my friends air rush many times, while the power is good, it's quite hard to control when playing finesse/soft jumps. With the ad3, I got to try it multiple times in one night and while powerful, it keeps the same control as the propel. So the ad3 is the perfect mix of the air rush and propel. Powerful and extremely easy to control

Man I watched the whole video waiting for your high voice, "Pop Pop Pop!' Even when you did your patented dart jumps...nothing. 😂😂 In any event, great review as always. I won't even get into price...you did the right thing not answering the question "Is It Worth It?" Kudos man!
@danny_52834 ай бұрын
Bar table (7ft) players use the dart stroke a lot. The slate is thinner on most of the small tables, which makes it harder to jump. Also, you are more often forced to do close jumps, which often makes the dart an easier choice.

Nice review. Beautiful looking break cue. I was surprised to see u using blue chalk on your grey felt. It would be fun to see how it compares to my 35 year old trusted custom Huebler break jump cue. The jump draw is all about timing & fundamental. I think I’ll stick with my old school trusted jump cue but for new upcoming players this is the way to go. Cheers

Big question is, since we know you chose the Propel over the predator. Would you choose the Propel over this one or will we be expecting to see some more jumps from you with the Air Drive 3 in the future

The AD2 extension fits to the butt end of AD3 if you want it longer.
@DRAG0NSIN73 ай бұрын
I tried the propel, rush and this. I previously thought the propel was the best until this, the this jumps incredibly easy. Though I do tend to tend the extension off since the weight is weird for anything that isn't 45' or less

never screw back getting butt up that high. higher you elevate more it bounces when it hits the slate, you need the ball to rolling before it hits object ball. lift just enough to get over it.

I’m trying to learn how to jump using a cheap jump/break cue I got off of Temu…. not having much success so far unfortunately. I know you get what you pay for, but is an expensive jump cue really going to make it easier? …anyone have any thoughts on this? Thx
@tptCJ4 ай бұрын
my jump shot was pretty bad and didn't really become a weapon for me until I got a Propel with the Taom tip (before I was using a cheaper break/jump cue). But the biggest improvement in my jumping was when I learned how to compress the cue ball similar to how you compress a golf ball to make it bounce, also use the wrist. I do think the tip, weight, and length helps though, cause my break/jump broke down too light/short and the tip wasn't very good for me.
@iantiffin58544 ай бұрын
@@tptCJ Appreciate you sharing your insight on this. Take care!

I got a Temu carbon fiber Monster jump cue figuring the carbon fiber is what makes the newer jump cues better. Unfortunately, my wood Dufferin did better than the Monster. So....I got a Cuetec Avid Surge and its fiberglass. Still, the Dufferin did better. There are differences in carbon fiber shafts (and fiberglass). I suspect the Propel, AirRush, Mezz and others have the correct formulation of carbon fiber and are easier to jump with than the older wood jump cues and some of the carbon fiber new jump cues. Now, there are the Marty Carey cues that jump really short distances, (probably Jacoby Nano jump, too) have very light shafts, have been around for quite a while, but suffer from control.
@iantiffin58544 ай бұрын
@@bell989 Interesting, thank you for your thoughts. Can’t help but wonder how much difference the tip alone makes regardless of the type of shaft, weight etc… obviously technique plays a huge part in all of this.
@bell9894 ай бұрын
@@iantiffin5854 I agree. Taom tip appears to be very helpful. The two big changes across the years are the shaft and the tip. The Mezz tip, too, may be better than those from years ago.
