My Microscopic World

Not much meets the eye when you look at the water in a pond, but when you view it under a microscope it is a different story. All organisms in this video is from a single water sample from a small pond.
For this video i used a light microscope (compound microscope) like this one to view the living micro organisms i found in the sample: amzn.to/2DlW1tX (affiliate link)

Hey man why don't you take... A piece of food... And place it in an open place.. for it to rot.. take samples like for 1st day... After 4 days .. after 10 days.. Likewise put them in different places like inside water.. one in a neat place. One in a place that's highly unhygienic... Would love to see the difference between the organisms..things that happen in different places over different time Maybe keep one in your refrigerator... And make a compilation and post would be soo awesome

I believe the "unidentified" organism at 5:33 is a paramecium. A unicellular ciliate. If you look closely, you can even see its oral groove. Thanks for sharing this amazing video!!

I love these videos. What kind of microscopes are necessary to observe and record this? Could you suggest some models for different budgets?

Almost any microscope are able to produce an acceptable image (unless they are very very cheap). My microscope cost under 1000 dollars, but you can get decent microscopes for around 200 dollars for hobby use. The limiting factor is the camera you get for the scope If you want to make videos. My microscope produces way better pictures than my camera can handle. So get a good camera with a good frame rate If you want to make videos for more than hobby use! If you look around on eBay and Amazon im sure you find some fine scopes to an acceptable price.

Text is way too difficult to see against white background, but great video nonetheless! To think that these organisms have even smaller machinery powering the operation of their already miniscule parts, like their cilia... it blows the mind just how complex even the supposedly "simple " organisms truly are.

Don't be an autistic asshole. If you've ever made a video before like this before you'd realize the effort that goes in... Typing mistakes will happen. You understood what he wrote so why be an asshole about it

@@heli0s2003 When you type instead of speak verbally in a video spelling errors will happen. It's obvious the spelling mistake wasn't due to him not knowing how to spell, but a typing error. He clearly rewatched his video multiple times during the editing process so to claim he didn't spellcheck is shitty af. Your comment isn't helpful. When you spend hours editing a video like this, you can easily skim over typos by mistake and then internet smart arses show up to flaunt in your face that you cannot spell. It just sucks to be on the receiving end of that crap man, don't be that guy.

It was the way you said it, your tone. I agree with Blue Bowser. You could have said something like, "Great video!! You may want to correct 'unielluar', at xx:xx. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing." Edited --> If you look at Joshua Smith's comment from 8 months ago, you'll see anther example of how to add a constructive criticism the right way. Just saying...

@@davidjones5837 You are absolutely, 100%, unequivocally right. I was totally wrong. I should never, ever correct someone's spelling, in a simple or casual way, without showering and adorning them with complements and accolades. I would hate to hurt anyone's feelings, even a whit, over such minute of a thing. How could I have done this? What is wrong with me? Hahaha Jesus Christ.
