Haha my dad worked as an IT consultant then, I was 8, and I remember him venting to my mum about it, he thought he’d be working very long hours, might lose his job…then nothing happened (well except noisy partying neighbours and 2 very tired kids kept up for midnight) 😂

I knew nothing would happen as most of that infrastructure stuff ran on some form of Unix which was Y2K compliant now there was a 2036 bug but that's been fixed.

Yeah well, screw that... I remember everyone blahblahblah the world will end today back in the last December of 1999, well 2000's came with a big bang of fireworks and nothing happened. Hell microwave was definitely working, TV was working, even the PC PIII with wind 98 was working fine, my calculator was still......... calculating I guess :) modem internet was still kicking ass so fast I would have to sleep to see a music downloaded :) Havent seen a single god damn thing happen here.
