As far as owning a home or land, we have never owned a home or land in the U.S.A. because if you don't pay the annual taxes they will take it away from you and you have to pay those taxes forever. Also, money is just an illusion that we have all agreed upon. If I have a garden and you have a million dollars but no food and you offer me money for my food but I say no then your money is worthless. After a couple of years in Nature, while working nights I kind of found my groove and moved back to the city to continue in an art school then quit again when I didn’t want to borrow, working my way up from a low paying entry level job, then the moment, I “made it” I bought a condo that was only 200 over my current rent, far from work. I didn’t want to own nothing, and this afforded me a leg up, even when 2 years later I was let go. I was “in the door” and roommates can help pay. Fast forward to now living in a paid off house and still driving a 30 yr old car, since I came from nothing. Don’t buy into advertising …stuff ties you down. And don’t give up either. They make it so hard to understand the tax and economic systems. I need to do further research but from what i understand.. we have a fiat currency backed by nothing (but it's kinda backed by stocks and bonds) and we borrow money from the fed (who is not a federal but a private institution) to feed to the economy... But then we take taxes so the economy is .... Stable? Im not quite sure. I remember that they spend first and tax later so taxes arent ussed for spending they are like.. destroyed? For great justice I suppose.

Nice video, it got me questioning things. I don't have debt, no kids and I drive an old car, I hacked the system. I invest so at least I can use the system for me.

@@turtleanton6539 believe me if I didn't have to drive to work, I probably would not own one either, it's just a game.

All truths. However you still have to take responsibility for your life. It has always been that way throughout the ages. Choices you are in control of.

Investors want double digit growth year after year from companies. Part of the management strategy to achieve this is minimal staff getting minimum pay. Neoliberal reality, profit over people.

Desktop computers made it possible to have 1 person on a computer multi-task, doing many things with all those programs. For example....Desktop computers decimated the old school printing graphic arts industry. Secretaries became graphic artists, doing all the newsletters, ads, art stuff. (No offense to secretaries) But companies needed less employees...you get my point...😮

Great summary; that's why the long-term goal is and should always be passive income - let your money work for you.
