The Milwaukee Packout System is great for us DIY guys and gals, too.

The 15 inch packout tote also works great with this sort of setup for a little extra you get a tote that runs the full length of those compact cases, can hold drill/driver and extras on the side. I have one of the compact cases below with a 3D printed organizer for bits.
