So lets continue the streak and never trade up into the first rnd for a QB. How has that worked out for us for 40+ years? I think this could be our best opportunity in long time to land a difference maker for the next years but I would worry more if we didn't have all the money we will have to spend on free agents in 2025. You can't please everyone but I think more fans will be dissatisfied if we don't draft a QB.

NTs and CBs are not game changers or team changers. It's just more of the SOS wheel spinning while the most important position on the field ...one absolutely necessary to win a championship is ignored. 2+2 doesn't = 4 in your mind does it?

Or just hear me out you get the qb in this years draft considering next years class is predicted to be hot garbage, and you sit him this year knowing that we do not really have Super Bowl aspirations this year. Then next year spend that large amount of cap space the Vikings have for 2025 on a NT and a QB. People don’t seem to understand the concept of a transition year for what ever reason. I’m not saying tank this year and they could surprise me and ball out with yer boi Sammy D. I’m just saying being bad this season is not necessarily a bad thing and if they don’t trade away the 2025 first then being bad could actually be good

I agree in a sense. However, look at the Defensive coach we have. He's the real deal. It allows the Vikings to pick and choose later in the draft. There is talent all over at CB .. and NT can be coached to be above normal. Face it, when you play the NT or D-line position... all your life... your dream is to find a coach that gives you undiscovered possibilities in your game.

We lost a great pass rusher and an okay pass rusher, and replaced them with two good pass rushers. DT's are still a bunch of other teams 2nd and 3rd stringers so I still have no faith in this defense having any teeth. The defense is taking a step back this year.

I subscribed to this page because I've been saying this for a while. Now add in the LSU connection with Justin (they've even been seen, hanging out). It was only 1 photo, though ( it could be from his visit to the Vikes). My other selection is Penix Jr. Then pick the receiver from Washington to add a 3 headed monster from WRs, add in Hock, and add Aaron Jones at running back. That's putting the league on notice.

It's commonly said that Maye and McCarthy are the best fits. If we were to get Daniels KOC would have to Ravens-Lamar style change the entire offensive approach. Wouldn't like this scenario.

Daniels is a great passer who gets through his progressions quickly and makes good decisions. Much different from where Lamar was when he came out. Not really sure what you are thinking when outside of the fact that both can run well the similarities pretty much end there, and Daniels would be fine in KOC’s offense

The hype started with KOC. He's the coach you wanna play for; because you buy into the system and the logic behind it. Not to mention, it's the same all the time. There isn't "take backs"... Coach says something and follows through with it. That's what it takes. I hope they make some strides in the draft... and I hope they get the cohesion it takes to win a bowl. Buffalo and Minnesota are the teams that everyone in the league ... even rival fans... would cheer on if they made it to the bowl. Both are 0-4 in bowl games. It's time.

Vikings trade up to 3, then swap with Redskins at #2 for an additional pick. Win-Win. D.C. saves face for being rejected by Daniels and selecting Maye at 3. Daniels goes to Vikings, the team he wants to play for. Maye has too many problems and will not start until 2025. D.C. has too many problems and will not be relevent until 2025.
