Very interesting video guys. One small point, I know the area you're fishing (I fish it myself) and I'm pretty sure sacking fish is illegal there and the Gard are pretty strict about that, so maybe worth considering.

Pity you night fished day only zone,perhaps Christian the bailiff will see this and close the other better areas to night fishing ,and make it harder for us Brits that play by the rules.the crooked mirror is a well known fish to the local French boys .

Just started fishing rivers just before close season the river near me is low stock 2 swims for about a mile and the carp and barbel never come out apart from one part of the stretch and a few days before close season I lost a mirror then the next day I decided to give it a go on bollie as I was pre baiting with citruz so I put a citruz cultured on and witching 30 seconds I caught a 8lb barbel (you can see the pic on my ig : jimmy__gilbert)
