HOW TO INSTALL THE .IPA FILE:
Requirements:
Any iPhone on iOS 5.X to iOS 10.X (iOS 10 preferred)
A Mac with 10GB or more of free space
A cable to connect your phone to the computer
An Apple ID
Step 1 - downloading the files:
Using your Apple ID, download Xcode from the App Store, and download iOS App Signer from dantheman827.github.io/ios-ap.... Extract iOS App Signer and it is recommended to move the app into your Applications folder.
Download the Domino's App featuring Hatsune Miku from burritosoftware.github.io/ipa...
Step 2 - preparing Xcode:
Once Xcode has finished installing, open it, and accept any terms and conditions. Once you do, it will continue installing.
Step 3 - create an Xcode project:
Welcome to Xcode should appear. If not, you can open it in Window → Welcome to Xcode.
Click to "Create a new Xcode project"
Single View App is fine. Name it whatever you like, and for organization put something like a username.
Save the Xcode project wherever you like.
Step 4 - generating signing files:
On the left, you should see a sidebar of files. Click the top most file.
Then, you should see in the main window at the top, a tab called "Signing & Capabilities".
If you haven't used Xcode before, you need to click "Add account", and sign in with your Apple ID. Then, close out the Accounts window and choose your Team in the window as "Personal Team". Wait for the loading spinner to go away, and then it's time to use iOS App Signer.
Step 5 - signing the Dominos app:
Open iOS App Signer. Make sure your signing certificate contains your Apple ID name. (If not, you probably didn't make the files. Repeat Step 4 if this is the case.)
Change the Provisioning Profile to the one that matches your Xcode project.
Next, click Browse. Select the Dominos app IPA.
Then, once all of this is done, click Start. Put the finished file wherever you choose. It is recommended to rename this file to "Signed" or something so you know that this is the new signed version.
Step 6 - sideloading the app:
Back in Xcode, click Window in the top menu bar, followed by "Devices and Simulators". Make sure your device appears in the list. If not, be sure to connect it. (If it is connected but you still do not see it, make sure you tapped "Trust" on your device. If you accidentally tapped "Don't Trust", just unplug and reconnect.)
Drag your signed IPA into the "installed apps" list. Or, press the Plus icon (+) at the bottom of the Installed Apps list and select the Dominos app.
If everything is working, Xcode should be installing the app, and then you're done! JUST KIDDING.
Step 7 - trusting yourself:
You may notice the Dominos app now on your phone! But, it is not launching. If you are on iOS 8 or below, simply try to open the app, and then tap Trust. If you are on 9 or above, you need to go to Settings → General → Profiles (or Device Management) → Tap your email → Tap Trust → Tap Trust again.
Once you do this, enjoy the Dominos Miku app!

yeah that's actually doable, given that private pokemon global trading servers can be created.

@@dragonboyjgh I mean for such a thing to be possible, you'd need packet captures from the original server, and then to backwards engineer them. Since the servers for the Miku Domino app is no longer up. it's impossible to capture packets from the now non-existent server to reverse engineer them. The GTS servers, in the meanwhile, had packet captures when the servers were still up. The advanced announcement of the server shutdowns beforehand would give people an opportunity to grab needed packets to reverse engineer and program a server emulator for GTS.

Ironically i've actually been working on this as a personal project, and managed to reverse engineer some of the app It downloads the assets needed for AR mode from domino's servers, but since they're dead right now the app fails and crashes. Me and another friend are thinking of recreating them, but due to many real life stuff we still haven't decided. In order to get the original assets now we'd have to find someone that, had the app installed while the servers were up, used the AR feature, is jailbroken, and hasn't factory reset the device since then What I have managed to get past is the initial loading screen the app shows. I managed to get it to "load" but it only displays some placeholder art. I also got it to 'run' doom but since the only 32 bit apple device I own is so old I can't make it playable.

@@DankRedditMemes Nah, you could RE the first "check the connection" packet's response to lead the app into believing the server is still up, then when it sends another request you catch the request, and try to make a reponse that looks like the request. Since it's a Unity app, it's written in ObjC transpiled from C# and since they got the files they can look into the source code for the API calls. It's much harder than for GTS, but doable since you've got the sources

Interesting mostly because of it's obscurity. Internet is getting scrubbed too much though, and I don't think these internet artifacts will persist as long as real ones do.
