There is nothing wrong with the SST running on the EVO unless if you think that gearbox is a conventional AT gearbox or CVT. Golf R is a performance car and rides on the dual clutch. All in all change is difficult, few will embrace, change must happen to evolve and improve. Next time, put the car a stop, press and hold the SST Button to change to SuperSport. That mode gives the gearbox highest clutch clamp force. grip and Launch control.

This happens when a half baked review is done. I wish he talked more of the features on X like how the AYC/ACD mode works, the braking system, the spoiler and the efficiency behind the 4B11T. The outlander DOES NOT share same engine with an EVOX only Ralliart was lucky enough to get some of the goodies from the X. X was produced with performance in mind not luxury dash views. That was left to the lancers, Mazda & C200s..
