So Jon Anik responded on Instagram and backtracked like a coward because he would never really quit his easy well paid job, he doesn’t have the guts to follow thru on his fake threat. He just wanted a pity party but instead majority of MMA fans whom he thinks he reigns over, spoke up and taught him a lesson.

So many big name fighters’ fans act like this and not a peep. Strickland gets a huge passionate following and all of a sudden it’s a problem. If Sean beat adesanya with a split decision like ddp, Izzy fans would be saying the same comments. Sounds like someone just isn’t a fan of strickland to have this kind of reaction to fans who thought their fighter won. Soy.

I think everyone is missing the elephant in the room here. The biggest reason why Mr Anik thinks he is better than the folks who fund his job has to do with who Anik is. His first name is Jon, not John. Does anybody know why it's spelled that way??? Maybe ask Ariel... those of us with tunnel vision can see whats up

Being an NFL fan for the last 30 years, I can tell you for sure the fans are just as passionate as MMA fans , casual or not. I dont think this is the reason though that Anik is crying. I think he wants to stay in a politically correct bubble. He's now an elite and cant be bothered with peasants. He's been sleeping in silk sheets for a while now and has lost his callous'. And the loss of gratitude is evidence of it also. Eff him... let him go.

Honestly. Ive always disliked Anik and im not sure why hes so praised. When Ben Rothwell was on a good win streak and was trying to cut a promo in character mode he dropped a line to walk of on where Anik should have let bim go much like Joe Rogan let Brock go after “get on top of my wife tonight” Anik awkwardly tells Ben to come back and talk about the fight. He ruined Bens moment and never really got made to own up.
