Right what you do lads is you bite down on that mouthpiece close your eyes and you swing as hard as you can and run forward cause eventually you're going to bump into them and then bam judo time. On a Serious note it's really cool to see Islam who has a somewhat similar gameplan as all of these players ( Closing the distance to a clinch and engaging in a grappling exchange) but has such a different delivery mechanism of it. This stops him from falling into potential traps of better footwork and angles that Judo players who run in looking to get a clench fall into. Mixed with his very good understanding of Modern cage work and we have a real moster.

I totally agree. He and khabib really built on what these guys had with a much cleaner entry. They figured out you don’t have to crash in, they’ll run away and you can counter cross them from the outside

Also I remember karo parisyan Being like the only person I remember seeing going for sacrificial throws into double wristlock Other than like sakuraba. Always thought that was weird but cool. Looks cool tactically not great.
