I remember working on Willy DeGroote's(Mike's Brother) tobacco farm in Langton....Ontario from 1977 to 1980....Very nice family with good ethics.... One of those summers...his son got a brand new Ford pickup truck for his 16th birthdayFrom his uncle Mike .....Black paint job with red flames accents on each door....and super wide tires.....We...the whole working force..thought it was so cool.. At one point in time earlier .....His father had had a serious accident ...in which we heard that he was walking in front of his brother's (Mike) airplane ..when the engine backfired and the propeller almost took the top of his head off. He did survive the accident ...but was never the same.Although he helped a lot on the farm.... his wife ended up taking care of the farm.......I thought I would share ....since this is the first time I see a documentary that relates to people I knew and shared events with in my own life. PS I believe 1977 was the year Mike sold the Tiger Cats...but I am not positive.

tracishea what is a “convo”?, I know what it is, but why not put a little extra effort in and use the full word “conversation “, it isn’t hard, and even if you couldn’t spell the word autocorrect would probably have put you straight. The English language has been corrupted and abbreviated so much because of modern technology, and the perceived need to speak or communicate in abridged versions of English language and literature. Before to long we will all have to communicate in abbreviations or “text speak” and “convo” will probably be the norm, but until then, please, don’t ruin my language completely. Thanks.

I can't believe a guy like Michael DeGroote didn't see these guys were crooks from get-go, I'm sure he did. I think his plan was to squeeze these guys out by installing his buddy as CEO and gobbling up the company after these two idiots screwed up. Sadly for DeGroote he was too late. I have no sympathy for any of these guys, DeGroote included. He's a crook too, just a better educated one. Every person involved in this documentary is a criminal, except for the narrator. Mafiosos, drug dealers, fraudsters, Bosnian hitmen. Absurd. You can't write this stuff...one one would believe you.

After watching this video I am so scared to become rich. My life is much more important to me than the extra money. That is for sure! I never ever change my mind.
