Thank you very much this is very student friendly and helps me to now understand. But will putting *10^-3 be seen to be correct on a gcse mark scheme or will you have to covert?

What I don’t understand is the moles of gas, because, the equation I learned was: moles= concentration * volume. Could you please tell me the difference and if what I learned is correct and which one should I use/is better. And any additional info I should know about it. Thank you and I hope you respond. Bye

The one he put is the correct one. I believe you've mistaken the solution equation for the gas one :)

moles= concentration * volume is used for solutions. When using gases you use n =v/24. Just like for solids you normally use n=m/Mr

That’s for solution not gas , gas is Pv= nRT

Thanks a lot! Can you also solve more Edexcel papers for AS Levels since I struggle with the questions sometimes. I would be very thankful since it would help me greatly.
