Man, Shania terrifies me. This game basically shows the different roads people can take regardless if they were once kind hearted or not (so Shania and N), the difference between Shania and Sena is that one never gave up, while the other did and allowed self comparison to devolve into ill-willed jealousy (basically forgetting about what you’re capable of and hyperfixating on what you don’t have)

This game is masterful at letting every character have their own distinct worldview. It's legitimately terrifying when you realize EVERY Mobius is someone who has given up. Mobius IS nihilism.

The reason Nia didn't die is because she's a blade, blades don't have hearts, they live as long as the core crystal exists, but D didn't know this, so he aimed for the heart and not the core. This compounds the first scene in which he first appears when he shoots Guernica in the middle of the chest, he also didn't die immediately because D missed his heart, D was actually trying to correct this mistake but luckily Nia is a blade and not a human, so he inadvertedly made another mistake.

But soft little me got so drawn in that I was like "BUT SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT, I CAN'T FORCE IT ON HER!" and so I chose the short hair version, despite clearly preferring otherwise. This game is so exhausting... To be fair, I did finish the game with a pure "finish it already". All of the side stories and these moments with main story where named characters just die, be killed or anything... It was emotionally exhausting so that I couldn't continue at some point and just wanted to finish the game and know the ending, which also was... emotional. This is a precious albeit sad story that truly makes the player feel.
