Those dogs have to search for an hour, or close to it, when it actually involves a crime. goodest boy just wants to play and our officer just wants to find what's there to find and get back to the warm car. @@Wezzy.64The leads they have on hand are usually in excess of 30 feet due to K9s typically pursuing suspects, finding drugs/items outside of vehicle searches is more rare, and the leads are long to ensure the officer can maintain control of the animal as well as knowledge of their location. K9s are also trained to be able to run and allow the lead to follow behind when chasing a suspect. They should still absolutely have a separate lead that's shorter in order to allow for ease in this type of work. I should say, in ending this looking comment that the problem was certainly the officer. They know the lead length, *they* are responsible for the animal, using correct commands, and knowing where and how the animal is moving. society sucks, paying taxes without any say where they are spent, corrupt politicians making laws counterproductive to citizens, power tripping bosses, invasion of privacy, violation of civil rights, promotion of unnatural lifestyles, systemic racism, no cost of living increases, no job security, overpriced schooling, and bias in the banking system are a few ideas why some people resort to non-legal incomes, off the top of my head. Now, I dont advocate drug dealing, but I do think being off-grid and making undocumented income is a smart thing, kind of like what a lot of lawyers do.....but that will get shut down soon, when things move to the CBDC

@@molleybrackney9585 Not as of late, unfortunately. There are social justice district attorneys who explicitly brag about this now. It’s very out in the open. They routinely talk about granting leniency to these people because they “had a hard life”. The corporate media also runs cover for them as well by obscuring their identity while very obviously not extending that courtesy to other suspects. Police are also less likely to do what needs to be done to avoid lawsuits or indictments.

People using drugs choose to use drugs. Blame the person shooting up. You know how the constitution has an amendment for prohibition, and canceling prohibition? Telling people what they can and can’t, must or mustn’t put in their bodies is a constitutional issue. The drug war is a crime to have enacted because of its unconstitutional form at this time. There must be an amendment to do this yet there is not. This violates god given human rights.
