Welcome back to another video everyone. Before we get onto that video I have two really quick announcements I want to make. The good announcement is that we finally reached 200,000 subscribers! I just want to say thank you to everyone who watches my content and finds entertainment out of it. You have all given me a platform to speak my mind about something I love and I am beyond grateful for it. Seriously, I wouldn’t be here without all of you.
Now, onto the bad announcement and that is that my last semester of college has started. In May I will finally graduate from school and plan on making videos full time. However, until then, there will be a slight decrease in the quantity of videos. You may have noticed it during the last week. I will try to get more videos out, but my schedule is super busy.
Now that we got all that stuff out of the way, let’s talk about today’s video which will be about the monumental moment WWE ruined Shinsuke Nakamura. We’re going to go over his career before WWE, his NXT run and ultimately the moment that ruined his career. You guys killed it for the Braun Strowman video so I assume you enjoy this series. Let’s jump right into the video.

There is a big difference, Mahal was pushed because WWE wanted to expand in India (and it failed) and because, apparently, McMahon found very funny to have Mahal as WWE Champion. I don't know why referencing Rey Mysterio, since he is hispanic like many other World Champion WWE had, like Alberto del Rio, Eddie Guerrero and Chavo (who won the ECW Championship when it was still worth something). WWE never actually threated well eastern asians, TAKA Michinoku, who was a very good wrestler, was threated like a joke and Akira Tozawa was too, Asuka was huge in NXT and now it's just a minor threat in the main roster, Nakamura was the only who was threated like at least a mid-carder in the main roster, but it was clear they never had any interest in seriously making him a main eventer. Come on.

WWE always had Reigns as their plan A, but Shinsuke also was among the favourites to win. Nowadays everyone is praising the recent Royal Rumble 2020, saying it's the best in recent memory, however I personally prefer Royal Rumble 2018, when we all rooted badly for Shinsuke to win and have a dream match with AJ Styles at Wrestlemania. Too bad WWE ruined it because Vince hates Japanese wrestlers and Roman Reigns agenda obviously, fearing that Shinsuke and Styles would outshine his favourite Big Fog at his another supposed coronation ceremony (and decided that this years Wrestlemania would be ultimate FU to the fans, didn't put over Roman and prolonged our misery till Summerslam).

Asuka and Itami should be on NXT pushing the women there not Charlotte...there are plenty of unique wrestlers who should be on NXT to push the talent there to get them ready for the Main Event Status. What really "ruined" Nakamura was Nakamura who doesn't really care about being in WWE. He's had a long and legendary career that he's reaching the end of, WWE has offered him a shit ton of money and he's fine taking it and doing nothing. He'll eventually retire from WWE return to New Japan probably for one last run possibly in the G1 and retire for good. WWE is just a way for him to get paid and he's painfully uninterested in being there and it shows but he and his family love living in Florida so it doesn't bother him.

I am not saying i don't believe you but if that is the case good for him, Strong Style wrestling can damage a lot of the body plus it can hurt your joints doing that style on a massive basis. So if he wants to take it easy, live comfortably making a lot of money and then retire then heck yeah. I'd say that HHH takes the last year of his career and give the fans back the King of Strong Style, have him do a massive run and push and retire him, then he should leave America, go back to NJPW and do one run to help the young talent there and then retire for good...Come back to America and help HHH with NXT and help get some talent there and use what happened to him not let it happen to anyone else. He should've honestly stayed in NXT to help the young talent there and retired in NXT...nothing wrong with that! They still use OVW for their Developmental Brand and NXT for Packaging purposes and Developmental reasons but its coming along a lot better than realized so that can be another Promotion for them like Smackdown was in the Attitude Era

I think Shinsuke pretty much didn't wanted that world title reign, he's only on USA to travel and earn some money, he don't have to prove anything to anyone. But WWE really did a bad job putting him in strange storylines, taking poor decisions. For Example, if you're going to put him in a dream match for the WWE championship, just make him lose and end the damn feud, everyone knew he would not be a good champion with the soft style wrestling, he can barely speak english and look at the title reigns he had with IC and US. He was a great worker, with a unique style, but pretty much it was impossible to translate it into a good thing in the WWE. Now he's just living his best life, doing what he loves and earning a shit ton of money.

For me, he was done the moment he lost his WWE title match against Jinder Mahal. That killed so many things for me. It killed the magic of Nakamura. It killed any hope I ever had of WWE changing how they handle their stars. It killed any hope I ever had of WWE listening to or acknowledging their audience. It killed any hope I ever had of there being ONE GUY called up from NXT that would change everything, which in-turn, killed NXT for me. I remember watching those classic wars between Gargano and Ciampa, and enjoying it, but there was always that voice in the back of my mind saying, “who cares, they’ll get called up and all of this will be gone, these guys won’t change a damn thing”. A few years before Nakamura, I thought Balor was going to be the guy that did that, and he did, for 24 hours. But they snuffed his magic out too. Those were the two guys I always held faith in, Balor and Nakamura. I always thought that they were just too good to be held down by the corporatization that the call-up to Raw/Smackdown ALWAYS brings. What WWE did with those two irreparably damaged WWE in my eyes, I will never, ever go back. Ever.

I think they can save him if they turn him babyface, utilize him more, start getting more momentum and build him for a championship match at SummerSlam against Roman.
