How Paul Heyman Saved WWE Monday Night RAW
Since the 2016 Brand Split, Monday Night RAW has been the far superior than SmackDown Live. Usually, the show’s time length was too big of an issue along with the very boring writing and dragged out moments. RAW is a complete disaster and I thought there was never going to be a time where it was going to recover.
However, when WWE decided to make Paul Heyman one of the creative executives for the show, things started to slowly change. The show began to have some cool and interesting moments like Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman nearly die from the stage or even Brock Lesnar beating down Rey Mysterio’s child. Perhaps, it wasn’t until SmackDown officially moved over to FOX when we actually saw a noticeable difference in the quality of RAW.
It appears that Vince McMahon has his hands full on SmackDown because that show has gone down a bad path demonstrating what RAW used to look like. It’s very possible that Heyman has more influence now and did the unthinkable: He saved RAW. Paul turned one of the worst wrestling show ever to a much more enjoyable product.
In today’s video, I want to talk about certain aspects of the show that has improved and why I think it’s the best wrestling show out of the three brands from WWE.

They have a weak roster. Wyatt, Bryan and Reigns are the top guys right now. And I'm pretty sure WWE is aware that fans don't want Roman challenging for a title. Wyatt can't have regular matches, or he'll get stale. What can make smackdown a lot more entertaining while waiting for the next draft is to turn Roman Heel with the USOs and challenge Braun for the IC title. It's a complicated mess, man. And there is a bunch of other guys, like Nakamura, Sheamus, Etc. But they need time to get their momentum back.

I totally agree. Paul Heyman ran ECW for a long time. ECW had better storylines, matches, feuds, and management of all their new and veteran personnel. The only reason ECW failed because of the network. Now, Paul Heyman possesses the talent, network, and control to spice up raw. Can’t wait to see further storylines, surprises, and character build up.

I think their stories are better. A more Character driven show with top notch wrestling. I just care more about the stories. NXTs wrestling is amazing but their segments are lacking some charisma

Finally! RAW is great because they're focusing building into the future, shaking up news stars with some in ring veterans. The roster is so stacked and it's now very common to expect at least one great match each week from the show. NXT is good but now there's so much talent that it's very hard to feature every one and to care for the newcomers or even now who they are. I loved the episode of a few weeks ago where it was the First Round in the Dusty Classic, the triple threat to be a part of the Fatal 4 Way match for the Cruiserweight Title and the Women's Battle Royale, because they managed to handle the talent very well and every match meant something.
