You monks are so beautiful . what better way to live life . then to live it with God . after all doesn't God give us everything we need as long as it's good for our souls. isn't God with us everyday of lives . doesn't God know what's better for us then we do .

Can the contemplative life be practiced alone? I am disabled and live mostly separated from the world. I am drawn to the order of monastic life but because of age and handicap accept this is maybe not Gods will. Can I live my own hours?

These guys are not "In medio ecclesiae" but they are now having an opportunity of opening their mouths (preaching). I wish that I would hear the Name of Jesus mentioned in their preachings. Although most of their monasteries have the name "Our Lady of..." and they end their day with the name of Mary on their lips, they will tell you that that THE Love of their lives is Jesus God Almighty.

Mary leads always to Jesus. They are inseparable. When they say Mary I hear Jesus!
