It's so inspiring but at a same time it's so raw, there is no hiding and double standards at all in this conversation. It may not be an ultimate talk but it's just true from a human perspective. Thanks for being so outspoken lama khen

27:32 Creating Phenomenal Wealth 34:56 karma = action = cause and effect 37:17 karma vs. free will If everything is governed by karma, then what's the point of doing anything. There is no free will. 1:03:13 Don't react to everything. Respond. Respond instead of reaction. Respond with kindness. Respond with compassion. 1:04:50 I create a small bubble around me. I carry it with me whenever I can, wherever I go. I try to be patient. I try to be compassionate, loving... Who cares like who's right, who's wrong, who had the priority? Everything was fine. Why take it so much on your ego? Just let it go, man! Just move on! 1:06:15 Don't just focus on yourself all the time. You know, I also believe that we are so insignificant. 1:06:53 How fragile are we? Our world, this earth, even though it's beautiful, you know, it's so big. But looking from the voyagers' perspective, from Interstellar space, it's less than a little speck but our egos, our needs, our wants, me, my ego... is bigger than the universe. It's crazy, you know! 1:09:42 Q: How can they break the loop? 1:10:12 A: In order to achieve enlightenment, in order to be free from these loops, you need so much good karma. You need so much rocket power that you can escape the gravity. 1:15:53 discipline 1:21:25 mantras to chant 1:22:37 In a fix, if you just want to calm your mind, first of all, don't respond, don't react... Take some short breaths. Just watch your breath. In and out, just a few minutes. Keep doing this, short sessions multiple times. Take a break. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 1:24:04 Kundalini (拙火) 1:25:41 simple breathing techniques

The title starts with THE MONK... is totally wrong ! Change it, because Rinpoche already mentioned in his Instagram that he never took the Monk's vows in his life.
@LetsChatWithGB4 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for addressing the same, but as Palga Rinpoche himself has mentioned and so the Ladakhi audience has addressed him as a converted Ladakhi Monk, we believe that it's not offending. Have a nice watch though!
@Tsondus4 ай бұрын
It is not that important whether Ladakhi people accept him as a monk or not.. The most important is he or she must have the Bikshu or Bikshuni vows according to the VINAYA SUTRA of the Lord Buddha! Then only we can accept him as MONK otherwise merely wearing robes doesn't become you as a monk.

@@Tsondus he's from vajrayana sect not Theravada one
@TsondusАй бұрын
There are no differences between Vajara and Theravada monk. If you are a monk according to Buddhist prospective you should have the vows. a@@depressedkavi7673

Come on, Lord Buddha gave up an entire kingdom, so what does a piece of metal mean in comparison to that?
@LetsChatWithGB4 ай бұрын
That's a great point! Lord Buddha's sacrifice was truly incredible and puts things into perspective. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
