Absolutely brilliant... Until the last 30 seconds! You needed to show Mr White wishing his son dead again! Imagine people watching this with no knowledge of the original story... That ending is just too ambiguous... I've read this story all my life, so I'm well acquainted with it . The 1973 'Orson Welles Great Mysteries', produced in England shot the best version of this this story. Alas vanished years ago. The wonderful Jane Merrow version 'Beware of What You Wish For' 2010 is probably the definitive version now... With this as an excellent 2nd!!! Critique aside; A sterling effort from all... I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will watch again... BEST WISHES, John

Since the Paw gave three wishes ....they could have tried I want my son alive again..then tried i want him to be just the way he was before the accident.. for the 3rd wish...Probably still would have turned wrong. but might have been worth a shot.
