I actually applaud the Mooch for getting on these shows with opposing views and being ready to hold a conversation about it which is what a democracy is rather than hiding away from any challenging confrontation
@GavinOCo
@GavinOCo 7 жыл бұрын
me too like exchange your viewpoints have a legitimate conversation dont just yell at eachother that solves nothing. democracies rely on truth, and truth is knowledge. They should enter every conversation or debate as an oppurtunity to discuss their beliefs and gain knowledge as to progress individually and collectively rather than relentlessly, and aggressively defending their subjective opinion so they can 'win' the argument.

Honestly, as much as I love Bill and his show, the audience needs to keep quiet sometimes and just let people speak. The Mooch isn't a stupid guy, and I wanted to hear what he had to say, even if I don't agree with any of it.

These kids couldn't get on board with the DNC's nonsense without old "Uncle Bernie" softening the real bloodbath behind the scenes. I've actually been pretty conservative having grown up in an extremely red state. There's nothing wrong with calling a spade, a spade. There should be more truth and less apologist crap going on. It country's not doing so well currently. Can't put out a dumpster fire by ignoring it, or calling it ambient lighting. No more spin. I'll take the unvarnished truth now, please.

David Frum asked Scaramucci that question simply to irritate Scaramucci. Scaramucci couldn't let it go because it clearly bothered and offended him.
@AmirandJake
@AmirandJake 7 жыл бұрын
Hardly. It's unlikely a judge would ever take such a frivolous case. Also, a plaintiff would have a difficult time attempting to directly link and attribute any "loss in value of a sale in progress." Frum's question implies Scaramucci's company was perceived as a valuable purchase only because of his connection to the White House and the administration.

Your taking what he said out of context here. Yes he said I don’t curse on tv but then when bill quoted him he immediately owned up to it (seems to me mooch just wasn’t considering cock as a curse word). When mooch said “I’m surprised that didn’t win the fake news award”, he was referring to his own comment taken literally. As In Steve banner is not physically capable of sucking his own cock. The joke may have not been executed the best but the implication your making regarding this statement is very much a stretch

then why let him ask the question in the first place. He sat there and said nothing until the guy had to defend himself. He couldn't handle the interview at all. This whole thing goes to show why both sides can never speak to each other. Frum was basically trying to personally smear this guy and then when actually wants to discuss the issue at hand we can't talk about it. You let him ask the question then let the guy answer. Thats my opinion about it
@joseinteriano4417

I can't be the only one who saw Bill defending Scaramucci and that it was nauseating, right? I mean there were some good questions asked by David, Antony even wanted to respond and Bill just shuts the whole thing down. That's not how a moderator should act. There are real problems with Antony's conflicts of interest and they are reasons why we should not believe everything he says.

Moocher was a pain to listen too - see how he tries to establish a center of cool at the start - calculating the "seconds" he spent in the WH for a cheap audience laugh and throw up a guise of a nice guy. Then watch as he becomes a panels worst nightmare, actively accusing someone of being emotional (aka 'inept'), even while he continues to take offense and pursue the topics thrown at him. The exchange with Donna about being cool looked like something out of kindergarden, two kids trying to one up one another about how "calm and collected" they were. Dude can't accept the fact Russia meddled. Dude won't take it seriously. Dude thinks Dems don't have candidates for Prez. Dude praises trump-populism and the subsequent decay of Western Democracy. The guy hurts my head. Panel got some good points in regardless (Bill at the end enforcing facts was my personal favorite), but boy was it unpleasant to listen to Mooch talk. Never an honest moment of genuine, bipartisan discussion.

machjac what evidence is there the Russia colluded? There is evidence from wiki leaks that Donna Brazil colluded with the Clinton campaign to give Hillary the debate questions, will you seek the same punishment for her?
@machjac
@machjac 7 жыл бұрын
Evidence? I don't know for sure, it was something about all of our intelligence agencies agreeing that Russia meddled in our election. Wikileaks and their releases are to be taken with a grain of salt. I remember how much ire they got from our society when they released those videos of military operations. Anyhow, IF what they provide us is unaltered truth, Donna should face the repercussions of helping her candidate unfairly prepare for a debate... Not nearly as dangerous as a foreign government meddling with our election with direct propaganda.

I didn't like Scaramucci when he was first in the spotlight, but in this instance he was making some decent point, before he was rudely interrupted multiple times with totally unrelated attacks! Donna Brazile should be hiding in shame from her involvement in DNC scandal. I don't know David Frum very well, but his personal attack to discredit Scaramucci was totally uncalled for while he was making some reasonable points. They could've waited for him to finish, before countering his "points" instead of going off to a totally unrelated topic to question his integrity. There's a reason Trump is president and establishment Democrats need to re-examine themselves and listen to people for a change!
