Sandra, you yourself glow like the full moon. It's profound! My grandmaw used to sing "shine on harvest mooon, up in the skyyy..." & "By the light (not the dark but the light) of the silver-y mooon...." & "moooon riv-errr..." People saw the night sky far more, back then, & the moon was a holy mystery.

Good Morning Sandra. I too have had exactly the experience you are describing-I have some regrets about situations where I did not keep my mind open to receive information that might have changed my whole perception of an event or incident-but I didn't come to have this realization until years later. Nowadays, instead of hardening a first impression into cement, I try to keep the information or communication bridges open whenever possible, for as you said, time does have a way of bringing forth more information. I think this is truly one of your most profound and helpful talks for us all, moving forward.

No matter what show up with your light and shine. You do that each week on our behalf and l say thank you for your light and shine of great wisdom. Have a great week.

What an great comparison between humankind and the moon. Yes, we've both been battered. The moon has the advantage of longevity, but we have the advantage of questioning, thinking and taking control. And you're right, Sandra, if that isn't enough, our faith in God assures us that He is in conrol, so we can relax. The keys for me are working to understand myself first, then check 'facts' from multiple sources before making a decision and moving forward. Too often our emotions can cloud our minds. And, then there's that tricky stubborness... " It's always been this way." (As in 'older" equals less valuable.) Thank you for the story about your 'swiss cheese' self. I bet a lot of us can relate to your experience. And thank you for the story about what happened in your life during the time of the Moon Landing. My son, who is a Type A just get it done guy, couldn't wait until July. He's a January 1969 baby. LOL (Actually, he arrived 6 days after his Due Date.) Have a great week, Sandra!

Sometimes it isn't overcast here in central NC and we get to get blasted by the full moon or the super moons. My mother (in Southern Calif where you get a clear night almost every night) LOVED the moon and stood outside until she was 90 every evening looking at the moon. She would call me and ask"did you see the moon tonight?" Well, when she was 90 she died on a super moon night. She was holding on and holding on and her nurse said we all needed to give her "permission" to die. She was too weak to speak but she could hear us and I told her it was ok if she wanted to go ahead and fly off to that beautiful moon. She died two hours later.

Hi Nana Sandra. On the really Full Moon nights, as the moon swings around the sky, it is so bright that the light of the moon lights up my great room until it sets in the West. And in the famous words of Walter Cronkite ... "And that's the way it is, on this 19day of January, 2025." If he could only see the world as it is now, what would he say ??
