Hi Tony, did you consider using the fog/aux switch on the inside of the left indicator button. The main benefit is not having to drill holes to mount a switch, plus it illuminates the little icon on the Speedo. Also not sure if it's fused, or if it needs to be? Thanks Tony.

I had no clue such a switch existed. Probably would’ve been a lot cleaner that way than just 3m taping it to my tree. Thanks for watching

Hi Tony, This is where I heard about the hidden switch. I'm in Australia and popped the left indicator button off and have the switch that lights up the icon on the Speedo, just need to Dremel it to work. kzbin.info/www/bejne/npW2d5apmpyKpq8 Hope this helps others out, worth watching. Mines a 2020 fxlrs.

Did you have a problem when or if you bottom out the light bangs into the front fender. I had mounted a dash cam underneath my triple tree and what a mistake that was.

Yes unfortunately I did do some damage to my front fender. I resolved it by using the stiffer legends cartridges. Thanks for watching

@@fciscokid I don’t have that bike anymore, but I lived have in the suspension set up with rwd rear shock and legends cartridges up front. It was a canyon carver

Hi Tony. Did u have the high beam on before u switched on the moon lightbar? Or was is just low beam - then low beam + moon lightbar? 🙏

No I did that was low beam I had on. I think I the position of the light bar pointed a little up though. Thanks for watching!

@@CN-ri9vf yea I have recently readjusted it since I redid the front forks. I gotta figure a way out to do it where it’s visible because GoPro camera setting suck at night and over expose lights

There was one splice I had to make at where the light connects to the switch. Pretty easy job. Thanks for watching and the sub!

Yea I had my buddy who is good with electrical help me with wiring so I wouldn’t kill the battery. I am worried that switch stays on 24/7. But he said it’s no big deal. Thanks for watching! Hit me on insta and I’ll send you pictures of the wiring

Yea so with out giving up too much of what’s in my in my follow up vlog yes I had an issue. But I think I know why and I might have found a solution. I will say this I talked to Moons MC, my Harley dealer, and other riders. People with all around stock suspension are usually pretty good. However I just put on a much taller spring in the rear pushing more weight to the front forks. I rode the bike after the install of the new spring and I heard the light make contact while going over a speed bump. No damage to the vender or light. Like I said I will do a follow up vlog soon.

I just installed this on my FXLRS was kind of bummed to see that the switch stays on (red light) hope it won’t drain my battery LOL
