Man! that's the best detector ever made! I own a v3i and it took me couple of weeks to learn the functions... but when you set it for your needs is very simple :start directly in the last program set recovery, ground filter and sensitivity on the fly and that's it... Is the best detector ever made!! ❤❤

I have the VX3, the simpler version of the V3i. It's still complicated!. I run it with the 4x6 eclipse shooter coil on a single 22.5khz frequency for excellent results detecting parks. The software is still very powerful but it lacks an updated processor like the XP ORX (the ORX computes like a dervish!). These 2 machines (V3i, VX3) were both the swan song and the demise of WHITES. It had software way ahead of it's time but WHITES failed to update the software/processor to make it intuitively obvious. Luckily for me I got my VX3 totally serviced about 6 months before the company went under. I'm keeping mine.

Yes have the VX3 and V3I I started using the VX3. Again was getting frustrated with the V3I. I use the 7.5Khz with the Bigfoot coil for parks.

If you ain't "making money" and finding more "fiat currency" and/or other "valuables" like sunglasses, IDs, credit cards, keys etc that can get you "fiat currency" and by "accident" as you "treasure hunt" for PENNIES in "parks" - which you can and most "profitable" treasure hunters DO "detect" with nothing but their God-given "Mark I Eyeballs" by knowing where, how, when and why what AREAS to "discriminate" against AND often do so WHILE "metal detecting" or appearing to do so because it looks far more "normal" and "natural" than walking back and forth "in squares" in a park head down and eyes on the ground and is also a dead giveaway to "fellow treasure hunters" somebody is looking for "valuables" in a public place "off the beaten path", I guarantee your results are "excellent" in your eyes only. Am a 2 year user of the White V3i , and feel am about 75 % there with all it can do. I dont waste time dialing in the fluff custom features, just the filters and recovery speeds, sensitivity and gain. My Anfibio Multi is a better all around coin machine. But as far as relics go, in that mode, the V3i kicks its ass. I dig pencil eraser tins at 11 inches. It's a Cadillac of detectors. I see it as those who chase the new machines, are the ones who chase the newest I phone. More money. Then in 2 years they chase the new Deus 2 or 3 model. But if you stick with a machine, after 1000 hours it becomes deadly and effortless

I went ahead and got the new XP Deus 2 about 3 months ago...took it to over 10 previously hunted sites...found so much new things. Coins, relics, jewelry. The XP made a believer out of me. I am reformed lol. I strongly advise people, if you want to increase your fjnds...get the new XP deus 2. Its freaking amazing

The screen on that machine is very easy to read compared to the newer machines, it probably has a crystal type front ,Whytes did make a top class machine love to see it working

I went from a DFX to a V3i. My V3i was made in 2019 and I found one a few months ago on eBay new in the box. So far it’s KILLER. I also have a Fisher pulse8, Aquanot, Garrett Sea Hunter and I am about to buy a GPZ 7000. but my V3i is great do dial in and go. Once you learn it it really is fast and after you set it. It’s a turn on and go machine.

A faster SAT is gona cost some depth... too slow SAT and the detector will miss multiple targets 🎯. My fav is mixed mode audio. With the headphones it is absolutely amazing technology...but it is not a waterproof machine. I also had a V3 and VX3 which are very similar. Every setting that you can think of and hundreds of others that are not on other machines.....are on this machine. Whites left nothing out of this machine and took great expense on developing this highly advanced machine.

Some people mistake complicated with effective. I've detected beside a V3i and also behind one.....The whole time they were questioning their settings and/or getting another popular Whites machine out of the truck. All while their frustration piled up until they caved in and bought a different brand of machine that was consistantly outhunting them.

I have many high end Whites detectors. They served their purpose. Too bad the V3i is not waterproof and weigh 5 pounds. The newer detectors need an S shaft instead of the straight shaft!!

My favourite has to have been the whites eagle spectrum, but it might soon take 2 nd place to a v3i which I should be receiving any day soon, after that it’s xlt and down at the bottom will be my nox 800 with its horrible crushed V3i’

@@chillieboy I’ve used many detectors and I usually like certain things about each one I’ve used. Love the balance and simplicity of the Teknetics T2, The Deus is light and fast , Fisher F19 is nice but hated the S shaft , the Whites machines are great with the XLT being a ring magnet. However the original MXT PRO has been the one that has got me the most finds, but Whites machines are heavy when you’re in your late 60’s. Waiting on the new Deus right now so we will see .

I have a DFX the man got a V3I. Once you learn the detector it never lies to you. I am looking to buy another V3I for a back up. Create your own programs customized to your area and ground. None of you really knew your spouse until you live with them for two years anyway

I had a Vx3 and one issue I had was if I run the recovery speed really fast 5 or less the audio started to deteriorate. Ended up being a no go for me !!!!!!

5 delay is very very hard to work with. I usually at least keep it above 18. 25 is good for average hunting. Slow swing with the Whites machines.

I have a DFX and 6 other detectors I can tell you that this machine (when you take the time to learn it) is a BEAST. Just play with it while you are at home watching TV and take time to learn it.
