Can I do the cooking of the lamb all in the skillet as I don’t have an oven ? I am also on a keto/carnivore diet. And I am a bit intimidated by cooking lamb. I’ve never done it before. Ty

@@likearollingstone007 She mentioned at the end of the video that you can do it all on the skillet. I've watched other chefs that stick to the iron skillet, like a 12" .

Just made the chops. Went 8 minutes in the oven and thought it was perfect. Thanks for the aid.

A very helpful method and one that I am actually going to try tomorrow with the lamb loin chops that I just purchased. Thank you.

Great recipe. How long do you cook the asparagus and at what temperature?

I believe it was 425 for 12-15 minutes.

Hi there, cook it to 150F if you like it well done

I prefer it well done or medium well! Not raw like most people😮

love meat that has a bone, a favorite is lamb neck because of all the connective tissue - I weight the leftover bones of lamb loin chops for the actual price per lbs I am paying for the meat

Thanks for watching! We love our “fall off the bone” cuts. What other cuts do you make other than lamb loins?

@@AliceCeeCPA My favorite is lamb Rack of Lamb from Trader Joe’s - remove silver skin and excess fat (only animal fat I dislike) - cut into 1 or 2 rib chops - marinate diced onion, garlic, freshly ground pepper, dry herbs and olive oil for 24 hrs - sear each in tallow and butter to medium rare, add salt In the US - Rack of Lamb from Trader Joe’s is from New Zealand, while Costo’s are from Australia (and TJ are smaller, younger lamb, that has a delicate taste and very tender that I stopped buying Costo’s Rack of Lamb - high certainly both are 100% grass-fed (and wet aged due to distant)
