The only person I would trust to build a rotor in the USA (that isn't in PR!) would be Abel. For decades he has been at or near the top of having the quickest rotary around and his reputation is known here down under as a great builder of rotors. 👍💪

I can see Abel has far surpassed the conventional bridge/monster/peripheral port, and went straight to the holy grail, so holy infact, modern technology cannot accurately capture the photons. We shall call it the Abel port, and sacrifice a goat each week to pay tribute to it

I know rotary engines use engine oil to help with the apex seals and keep them lubed as well. One thing that happened to cross my mind is adding an oil injector of some kind to help get a little extra oil into the engine and hopefully not have so much scoring on the surfaces. Lets hope everything goes right and you can reach over a thousand horsepower.

This comment section... the blurred parts are the bridge ports. Why they are blurred half the time seems to be in relationship to seeing down into the journals so I am guessing there is something special about the inner portion.. or Rob starting blurring and it turned out to be unnecessary.
@JusttheEdge6 жыл бұрын
Alex A they where regular street ports not bridge ports. There's plenty of shots of them not blurred.

Unless he is just screwing with us he would have blurred them because if your a pro rotary tuner/builder like Abel you dont want people copying the way you re-port the engine. its to keep a secret a secret. but if it was to keep it secret Rob messed up big time XD

That crack is a bit of a worry because I've heard of it being common with the cast iron housings,once they start cracking,they are likely to continue cracking right through the housing, usually if it's leaking oil,it's cracked. Some of the rotary guys over here in Australia have been talking about how there are aftermarket billet aluminium end & intermediate plates available albeit aren't very cheap but are much more solid (not as brittle as cast the cast iron housings). I'd either get semi PP rotor housings or the rotor housings machined to accept semi PP (25mm) inlet ports,have throttle butterflies set up to open them up at a certain RPM band or throttle position to get the best overall performance out of the engine.
