I have just seen all your El Camino videos with out pause, just love them 😍 And can wait for your release of the last part of the Camino from Sarria....🙏 I have walk the last part from Sarria and in April 2025 I will walk the hole Camino Frances, and after I have seen your videos I can wait 😀 I am so impressed with have strong you are mentally and physically, because it is by no mean easy, what you have done. And what wonderful friends you got in the 3 guys👍 The best of luck in your future adventure 🤞

Thank you so much, that is very kind!! If you enjoyed walking Sarria to Santiago you are in for a treat walking the whole thing 😊 I hope you have the most amazing time! And you are right, I was so lucky to meet these 3. I hope you meet some lovely people as well

You pulled off that bucket hat, don't let anyone tell you otherwise! 💪🏻 It's crazy that it's been over half a year already. Your videos are taking me back every time I love it. Miss you guys ❤

Well Lawrence certainly told me otherwise when he said it made him laugh out loud 🙃😂 to me it feels like a lifetime ago!! I'd live it over and over again if I could 🥲

Hey! Another British guy here who walked at the same time as you (I was out there 25/03/24 - 16/04/24) so there was some overlap. Me and some Camigos have been watching the series to see if any mutuals pop up. None so far, but excited to see the conclusion! Buen Camino :)

Thanks so much for commenting, that's really cool to hear!! Did you walk the whole thing in that time?! Buen Camino!

@@summitwithsophie Yeah, I had a casual first week or so but then started picking up the distance to ~45k a day. My friends finished separately up to around the 21st. I don't regret going fast but it would have been nice to see more of my new friends - luckily we're doing the Porto route from April 5th next year!

Ah I'm so jealous you're going back together! My friends from the videos are all over the place now, Woody has gone to live in Vietnam for a couple of years and Lawrence is going to Vancouver 🥲 so we've talked about doing another hike but dates and locations don't seem to line up just yet 💔 I hope you have a great time!!

Yay! I’ve missed your videos. I so enjoyed watching this although some of it was hard, I wanted to give you a hug. I already feel sad for the imminent end 😘

Me too! I can't believe I only have one left to edit now 😅

Another great video :D This is probably the section of the Camino I'm the most jealous of - although it clearly didn't come without its challenges, and I'm sorry about your finger 😅 Can't wait for the next one!
@summitwithsophie5 күн бұрын
Maybe you can go on your own Camino 🥾 the finger miraculously healed in only a few days and didn't even leave a scar 😂 I guess finger pads heal very easily?!

@@summitwithsophie I wouldn't be brave enough to go on my own - much more of a wuss than you are clearly!

I’m curious how was your experience as a non alcoholic drinker? I also don’t drink but every Camino video I watch, there is wine offered with every meal. Was it hard to say no constantly?
@summitwithsophie2 күн бұрын
Not hard for me at all! I know for certain I don't want to drink alcohol so I'm not tempted. Mostly with meals you can just ask for a soft drink instead and that's fine 😊 The Camino was much harder in this sense for Nils, who is a vegetarian. The Spanish don't understand that vegetarians don't normally eat fish so most of the "veggie" options had fish in them 🙃

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, but we'll see how much I manage to do over Christmas!
