Why are you installing the radiator at the bottom of the case? That's a great way to prematurely kill the pump because the pump shouldn't be above the rad. The FormD T1 allows that configuration from the top. I really don't get that build decision.

Another excellent video. One of your best builds in my opinion. I love this case. It's similar to the Fractal Terra, but more flexible. I have the reference version of the T1, and I've been using it for the past year. The reference version is a very good solution for air cooling, as it has a lot more space for the CPU cooler. I prefer air cooling, but that's just me. The worst thing about this case I have experienced is the feet. I often move my PC from room to room, since it's so small. In so doing, and I am not heavy handed, two of the rubber feet have worn through to the metal underneath. So, if you slide it around too much like you do at 10:40 in the video, the feet will wear out. I just ordered some new feet from Ali Express lol.

Great video and build. But good luck with the AIO pump in 3-5 months going bad. The air is going to be trapped at the highest point in the loop with the radiator at the bottom, and the air is going to rise to the pump. So the pump is going on air eventually. Steve from Gamers Nexus did a great video on that. Other than that a great video again. Keep up the good work.

7:50 the stock SF750 cables are more than good enough in the FormD T1 - I'm running an air cooled build in triple slot mode and with some cable ties they are easily managed. If you think the SF750 cables are bad the ones from the EVGA GM line are FAR worse - horrendous cables.
@harryhalfmoon8 ай бұрын
Wow. What CPU, cooler and GPU are in that build? Not much room for cooling left and that with a 3 slot GPU. I'm guessing you have a pair of T30s on top, sucking at maximum capacity to keep that setup from throttling. I'm curious, so please share. I just finished my T1 build today, using an Atmos 240, and cabling was quite a challenge with stock Corsair cables. It turned out quite nice, but it took me many, many hours to get it right. I had to mount the PSU in alternative / 90 degree mode, to prevent the cables from clogging up the airflow of the T30 on the radiator. AIO tubes are very cramped in that setup, but it works, just barely.
