How the eck can ya sleep while watching something ? Just close your eyes and breathe in for 3 seconds - (this technique will increase in length to more you practice ) very slowly an relax into it, hold it for 2 seconds then exhale for 5 seconds, focus on that and just that and be sure to concentrate .. If you can master this then you can master anything within reason.. Oh yeah and press play on wish you were here before you start. Good luck

Really interesting! The camera is being made in a clean room. Particles abraded off the metal block are not allowed to scratch the block. This is accomplished by using the abrasive sheets on long enough to clog the abrasive sheet. So the material removal process avoids microscopic scuffing of the surface that is getting finished. That shows an understanding of how metal is polished using very fine abrasives. This video is not silly; it shows a careful attention to detail. It indirectly says the attached lens will focus precisely. It says mechanisms will work smoothly. And the machining from a block of metal means the camera will have a certain heft. The weight of the camera means the camera has more inertia than a plastic camera. Pressing the shutter button will cause less reaction which means less microscopic blur in the picture. It all makes sense. This is ingenious.

It's called pride in craftsmanship. Some companies still adhere to it and others don't. Not every organization aspires to create cheap throw away product. If that's what you want, buy it. But that's not Leica. So don't buy it if it doesn't suit you.

_ It's psychological mesmerism aimed at impressing and triggering weak points in one's psyche, which easily succumb to fulfilment of strong desires to have or possess the 'best' or 'finest'. It works on many people - and in this case only those that can justify the high price or can afford it will actually buy the idea that this is a fine quality product that they should own. _ If you understand how the human psyche works then you will never fall for such bait - but there are so many people who will take the bait and feel that they have rewarded themselves. That is their choice. Some people collect stamps or coins and spend more than what the Leica T costs.

I was kind of interested (that's why people click on a video..) but when somebody tells me to click it away for 3 minutes it gets I felt obliged to do so. 45 minutes sounds quite short. If you would buy a custom build wooden table, they will have spent hours sanding it. Plus, it is just a finishing step to smooth out the milling marks from the CNC it is not like it is handmade.

Not sure I understand the use of this type of excess with a digital format. I could see it on a film format be cause of the lack of innovation when it comes to the loading of film and the format it takes, if the sensor was modular I guess I could see it, but here, I'm just not sure...
