The main reason he feels so good in 5 is cause you never have to play as V

So he isn't nearly as busted in DMC3 as he is in 4 and 5, but he does blast through the campaign a lot easier than Dante does. DDespite having less moves, he's still very fast and hits pretty hard. And if you map the summon swords to one of the bumpers, you can basically spam that shit while melting away enemy health with your combos.

Basicly more simple but more skilled bc Dante has lot's wepoan i pretty good example is when dante dmc 4 used yamato but wasn't nearly as good as vergil is when he use yamato igs vergil mastered his wepoan to it's peak which why he's busted to ous

When it comes to Vergil it's pretty heavily optimized for you to switch the summon swords to either a bumper or a trigger

I set summon sword on B and melee attack on Y(xbox controller on pc) and just pressing both buttons whenever i do combos

vergil in dmc3 is good but has like, no moves so there isn't much "combo potential" in a way besides jump cancleing

3:00 the moment our boy exposed his noob-ness… although it was easy to notice since the first minute. Although nobody in the universe plays Nero, DMC5 Nero gained the super underrated mechanic of adding “devil punches” alongside the EX’s. Sadly, because this is hard and unappreciated, most people use the punches to keep enemies in position for a showdown or maximum bet.

change your shoot button to a trigger. then you can summon swords and charge summoned swords while still fighting
