Checkers is actually pretty complicated. At a high level the moves that they find are utterly insane. I just find it a bit boring perhaps but it definitely isn't a simple game ripe for analogies related to being stupid.

I'd like to apologize for my chess skills not being at the level they should be. I feel I need to explain myself a bit here. It all happened after I'd spent 10 million seconds trying to figure out if I should capture the pawn on f5 with my pawn on g5 which of course was a stupid move but I thought it was the best move nonetheless. So I once again apologize for my lack of proper chess skills. Hopefully Magnum Charcoal won't see this comment.

I used to always take with the g pawn, but only ten minutes after becoming a subscriber. I had learned, when to make horse noises, when to whisper in German, sing in Italian etc. my grandmaster certification arrived by courier that afternoon and I no longer make those mistakes. Thanks James.

More epic to me is draw between Jose Martinez and Carlsen in early TT 13/8. Carlsen had over 1 min on the clock and winning position. Jose had 10 seconds and managed to draw that game and win TT on tie breaks. What a player!
