To summarize: When Xehanort first became a Heartless, he got sneak previews of what his host-to-be Riku would see and concocted a plan around that. He then jumped into his own past to recruit his boyhood self, passing the power to cross one's timeline to him, then hung around since then waiting for the "Night of Fate" to happen. Young Xehanort traveled through his own future up to this point, picked up a couple other versions of himself (like Ansem and Xemnas), and followed Sora and Riku into the Sleeping Worlds. Ultimately, Young Xehanort and his other time-hopping selves will return whence they came with no memory of the future, and eventually rejoin us as the present-day Master Xehanort.

Time magic has been a thing since KH1. Far Time Travel was introduced in KH2 with Merlin (who in his own canon is also a time traveler, further referenced by how in this game and 3 he's specifically mentioned to be manipulating the flow of time). Luxord controls time, and the secret boss of BBS reverses time. At the very beginning of this game, they tell you that you're time traveling to the past. It's insane to me that when people get to this point and it's explained in detail that they suddenly forget all of this and act like everything is suddenly new and confusing.

black coat was a actual pushover in the 3ds version. in the port for it though, due to 60fps, he actually does attack more often. its funny that he kept running away from the HP orbs that were healing the boss. he was properly leveled too. ANSEM HOWEVER, gave me a run for my money in the second phase due to struggling to run back when he pushed you all the way to the wall

There are definitely some commands that are better for multiple enemies, and horrible for bosses. Gotta only have 'em quick ones that don't leave you vulnerable. Spark raid is just garbage, one hit and done. Zero Graviza don't even do anything to bosses. Meteor Crash I ain't too familiar with. For this bossfight, ya really gotta keep moving/stay high in the air most of the time. I genuinely did not know that boss can heal with Riku's gummy orbs. Jeebus.
