You really do live in a beautiful & stunning piece of paradise. Every inch or cm of your home is being built with so much love & laughter. Where there is a will there is a way & you certainly showed that putting the A frame up. Especially with the wind. It's certainly not a small home. Should you not think of a second bedroom as I'm sure you will marry one day & if children. In the mean time you have a spare room for your parents if they come to stay. You could also rent it out as a bedroom for guests to stay & experience your beautiful community. Of course only if the rest of those living there all agree. So very very proud of you grandson love & blessings from Nana Vicky. Australia 🇦🇺🐨🦘😁💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

@@kimberlyearly8918 Hi Kim, Yes, I do know she doesn’t know about it. He even mentioned once that he almost slipped telling her. He did say from the beginning that he was going to wait until it’s finished then bring her to show her his home. I just meant that I’m sure she will cry when she sees it and finds out he built it with his friends. I’m a mom myself and I would probably cry knowing how talented my son has become to build his own home. I’m so excited for him and his accomplishments. He is such a kind and caring person.

By the size of it you should be able to get at least 2-3 bedrooms upstairs for you future family but one could be an office/media room for sorting your recordings out. Great team work 💪👷👏👍

Does the truck or the range rover have a winch? Can maybe do something creative with pulley system for raising structural pieces. It's a great size - will feel a bit smaller after walls and cabinets go in.

Hey there, I just got lucky and found your channel. I am now a new subscriber. This way I get two videos from Lola's farm each week. I think it's great what is going on at the farm and I'm looking forward to watching you build your A-frame house.I love A-frame's because they are so efficient. You can harvest a lot of water because the exterior is all roof. I'm sure you are going to be putting solar panels on the south side so you can get your electrical power. If you can afford it you should cover the entire side. Good luck on the build.

It is just absolutely amazing and beautiful how everyone has came together to help you build your home. It reminds me of when I was growing up how everyone would come together and help everyone during harvest time and help when the neighbors needed help. But to be honest with you just have not seen that kindness or anything like it in year’s and year’s probably since I was 18 year’s old and I am 51 year’s old now. Things sadly have changed in my area where if you needing help you might has well not hold your breath for help because it won’t come you have to make a way with the help of the God lord above. I hate that the world is that way around here but it is. God bless you and keep your home strong and fill with absolutely love and laughter.

To all you climbers who are suggesting wrapping the rope around the waist - if that A-frame goes down it's going to take you and three others of you down with it. The A-frame needs to be braced from all three angles to hold it steady. And to the others who asked about a-frames attached to a pulley system to raise the first frame-up, I agree. And finally, the whole system must be fully braced, forward, backward and sideward so the wind won't take the whole system down before the internal braces are in place.

Another thought: hopefully you recorded the exact angle for the roof triangle trusses. Perhaps the first one could have been trial-fitted, lowered, and all of them fabricated before raising them; that way they would be identical. 🤷♀️ Such a challenging project!

You can do anything then you put your mind to it, just look at the skills you have developed is such a short time. Your building your own house. The cabios for the "A" frame you should lap joint those to make them longer so its not just a butt weld. They would be much stronger. Your going to have an amazing home. If your going to be insulating consider rock wool if it is available, rodents don't like it and moisture does not affect it's performance.

My parents lived in an A-frame house and it was adorable! Theirs had pull-down folded stairs to access the upper floor which they used as combo storage space/guest room. The upstairs had a balcony and below was a deck off the living room. it was great and had a lovely view --and was perfectly situated to see the fireworks set off over Klamath Lake every July 4th. I hope your house plans will take advantage of all that upper space with something similar or at least a loft. Best wishes on continued success on your build!
