Haha i love filming with my cats! They usually leave me alone, except when they meow all through the video to get attention, or when they jump into the frame but they don't harm my plants so I don't mind. I very much enjoyed this chaos! Thank you for sharing the fluff babies with us ❤

In regards to the flickering main light. Its a common side effect of a lot of consumer grade LED lighting for homes. Often these are what we call "direct drive" LEDs that run off line (mains) voltage without any rectificiation or sub standard at best. Often you can do a little reading and watch a video and replace these yourself with a nice quality fixture that has the correct circuitry involved. Its easy and ones that dont flicker arent all that expensive. What you are seeing is literally the frequency of the mains voltage. Fun issue to have with newer lamps and fixtures. Of course, all that is only relevant if you decide to film more in this spot or it bothers you enough to do that rather than just bring in the extra lighting equipment. I love the kitty and the chaos! Entirely too adorable. The wife agrees that Teddy is absolutely gorgeous and adorable.

LOVE the chaos, so real and joyous! And cats always help ;) Strategies for when I was filming with cats for online teaching mainly fell in 2 cat-egories. 1) Distraction, 2) Yes-And. Distraction as in me spreading trails of tiny treats throughout the house so they had to go on a lengthy treasure hunt, or those food puzzles. Or…battery toys that they could follow in a different room or just my remote vacuum. Yes-And as in improv comedy-we consider every mistake a gift- ie instead of it being a problem or horror that he’s showing his booty to the camera, framing it with a positive/funny/silly playful linguistic spin (clever usually reads better than sarcasm we say in the comedy world, it’s the “victimless humor”)- lol ie -when he shows his tail, “ he thinks HE’s the camera, doesn’t he”/“well, he Does deserve all the attention and he knows how to get it”, etc. Then everything looks intentional and gets a laugh because it’s unexpected. You do some of this strategy already, and more would be pure gold ;) I sometimes would lock them out of the room and reward with treats after, but feel so guilty doing that.
