Thanks for the demo. A great overview of all of the functions. Through my monitors it sounded great. I have ordered one to go into my pedal board. It won't replace my Marshall JVM 410HJS but in my Boss ES-8 loop it will open a whole lot of options. And it looks like a fun product to have!

This is a great explanation of how the box works. One thing that I want to point out is that when he was going through all of the amp models, NOTHING else was changed. It was the same CAB IR the whole time. The same EQ settings the whole time, etc. So keep in mind that this does not represent the different amp models in their best light. The 9 factory presets are all dialed for specific tones with different CAB IRs and FX settings. You can dial in your tones any way you want to.

I'm having problems setting up mine with the preset mode and stomp/boost switch. Any time I switch fx or what is on/off and tied to the stomp/boost switch, it translates those changes to the other preset. How do I properly set it up for 2 presets and not having the fx/stomp mix over to each preset?

The presets, is it 2 presets or 3 presets we can create?
@LegendaryK4

So basically, if you can use the boost switch to turn off specific effects, then you could essentially have 3 sounds? Clean on 1st preset, Rhythm on second, and lead can just be the rhythm tone just with effects??? Is this correct?

Hey Trey. Hope you're doing well and staying safe. This is pretty much the set up I've been thinking about to go with my 1980's Peavey 1x12" Closed Back Speaker Cab. It's loaded with a Celestial Vintage 30 speaker that I've had since around 2005. So it's well broken in and sounds amazing with whatever I am running through it. Ok , here's my question ; You're using the Ampli-Fire for 2 channels. First is set for Rythmn Crunch. Second is Hi-Gain Lead Solo work. Now , I want to make this 3 Channels by going back to Rythmn Crunch , switch to Neck Pickup , and roll down the Volume to get a really nice Clean Tone with my SD '59 pickup. In your opinion will this work like I'm hoping ? I'm guessing you've tried this already. I didn't check the date on this Video so I'm not sure you'll even see this question. So if anyone else would like to offer some knowledge I'd really appreciate it. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 I just checked the date on when this Video was posted. A little more than 3 years ago. So I doubt anyone will even see this question. Cheers everyone. And stay safe.

What I like is if you don’t wanna drop the $700 up front, you can get the power stage and just use really any pedal as a pre amp. Boom. Want to use the digitech death metal as your pre amp? Go ahead. Why idk but you can.

I propose an even more compact, but extremely basic rig: -Mooer Micro Pre-amp -Mooer Baby Bomb 30 power amp If you don't need a cab, replace the Baby Bomb with a Mooer Radar (or just use the cab sim on the Micro Pre-amp instead). I'd also put an EQ pedal (to get the guitar signal tighter) before the pre-amp and a noise gate after, but those are completely optional.
@dagr8nico
@dagr8nico 5 жыл бұрын
And now with the Mooer PreAmp Live it's even better. Not as compact but for the amount of versatility you get for the footprint it's a good setup. Preamp live > Baby Bomb 30 > Speaker/House sound

This is more like digital reverb, delay and mods which are also modelled and then circuit made, especially TC Electronic ones. This is pedal offering cabs and amps in that way, and with a 2 pedal footprint. I use many valve amps and now have a Katana which models and I have to say it has great sounds also.

I think Mooer GE200 would be a better pick. At the same price you have the option to upload your own IRs, an expression pedal, looper and...drum machine. The stock sounds in GE200 sound way better in my opinion.
@oysteinhaugen7055
@oysteinhaugen7055 6 жыл бұрын
In my opinion the ampli-firebox is a much more professional choice. Better quality. More compact. Pretty sure you can upload your own IRs. I would never ever use a looper or drum machine for a gig. Just my opinion.
@corpocore
@corpocore 6 жыл бұрын
Ah, you're right, it does have the IR loader, my bad. I haven't seen the amplifirebox in person, but the mooer seemed well built. I wouldn't be scared to gig with it.
@fromthistexasbreath
@fromthistexasbreath 6 жыл бұрын
The Mooer's drum machine sounds so bad, I wouldn't ever consider it for a gig. Maybe for practicing with instead of a metronome at home, but it's hardly a serious option for live use.

Gear Gods na. I’m saying metal tone doesn’t have to be pixely and scratchy. I mean, i said you played really good so dont trip out or anything, but have you tried the black star ht metal? It’s a tube amp. It’s high gain. It’s smoothe. Maybe somthing more like that. I swear metal guys can get more of what they are actually going for from tube and solid state rather than modeling.
