A Great Company. A Great product. I bought the original Firebox...quote Good..but I own ALOT of boutiquey amps...so it just narrowly missed my niche...They I returned it..no hassles at all. I noticed this company constantly innovates their products..and the support is fantastic. I can't believe the hype other companies get when these guys are sooo good. I Have to try this new unit...It may just become my go-to for Live work.

I think the AF12 surprises a lot of people that do not consider it "high-end". Some other modelers have better UI and effects, but no one has better amp modeling IMHO. Hoping they come out with an AF12 MKii.

@@j_reaume5248 yeah, I’ve seen shootouts where people say it takes more time to program what you want on the AF stuff. May be true, but the size, weight, capability, and price make it really attractive.

@@AngusClarkGTR no it took less time tbh. Sounded better too. It was just easier to deal with. Better high gain tones etc.

I love Atomic ampliFIRE so much that I have 2 AF6 models. Very nice Amp Modeling and USB to the MAC, load up Custodies IR's and also the FX Loop. I'm a plug and play guy. Very simple to use for ADHD Spaze's like myself. To me the FX aren't bad for practice but I have bins of great pedals if I need one. I really like your channel Michael. Great Playing and I learn a lot because you play a whole different style than me and a lot of clean stuff. If you want to improve, I think it's helpful to learn to play different styles of Music. Like the clean leads with the overdriven Fender Ala Tom Petty. Great Demo Michael. Thank You

I have one and I love it. I play it set mostly to the Deluxe model through a couple of Adam A7X (sometimes just one) and feed it with many types of pedals. Before I did the same with a 5E3 and I have better results now at home levels. Absolutely. MKII should be stellar if it lives up to the MKI.

You said it has an improve on the amps emulation. So, the AFB, the 3, 6 and 12 buttons versions have all the same amp sims. Are all of them out of date? I assume no news for the AFB anymore, but the others one? A new line of MARKs II?

I bought the original 3 Button 6 yrs ago the day it was released. Im just a living room rocker and never play outside the home. I remember there was a lot of buzz around the release of it but must of just gotten shadowed by the other guys (Helix, Fractals, ETC) It surprises me as these were only 600 shipped on release day. Anyway Ive got a question if you know, is this exactly the same as the original just with one less button and of coarse newer software? Ive got a set of Altec Lansing ACS45 computer speakers from 2004 plugged into the headphone out and its all i could ever want. I may be wrong but i cant get the noise gate to be programmable for individual patches, seems like its only global and doesnt appear that i can assign any of the 3 buttons at different levels. AGAIN IM TALKING ABOUT THE original so this is why im asking. Im either going to buy a 12 button or now thinking about this one as at worst If I could be able to have a Dirty and a Clean channel that I can use one of those buttons on the "FireBox". I can buy a 12 button used for the same price as the Firebox new so trying to fingure out best option. Thinking as i dont leave the house maybe the 12 since i do have that many more buttons. And when you say its Mono, is that just as far as outputs? Do i still get the stereo effects like the ping pong delay left and right?vjust no left right outputs right?

Nice intro. Michael always downplays his guitar work. But it is always super tight.I think bassists and drummers call it "in the pocket". Maybe that doesn't exactly apply here. But it sure sounds good every time.

I've put the Iridium against my plexi (plugged into a reactive load) and three different software amps, all going through the same IR and I've found the Iridium was the weakest in the bunch. Neural DSP stuff sounded and felt great, very close to the real amp after a few tweaks. The Iridium is a very good IR loader though - and that's why I'm keeping it.
