Thanks for covering Suika Shapes (free version/demo). It's pretty out of date because I've been working exclusively on the Steam version for a few weeks. I released the full version on Steam today and would be happy to send you guys some keys for it once my key request is filled by Valve. It has a lot more features than the web version. (also you can rotate the shapes in both versions) Based on feedback I also added a mode where each color corresponds to a specific shape, it's live on the Steam version now (11/29). There are 14 shape types, 4 modes, and 5 modifiers you can apply in any combination. Also quick warning, the music on the web/itch version should be okay to use in a video but I cannot guarantee it. The Steam version has original music and will not cause any trouble

Any plans for colorblind mode where maybe instead of little faces there is a number? So smallest has a 1, next up has a 2, etc. So you know that you just need to combine 4 to 4.

I'll miss the daily uploads but to be fair that means were probably gonna go back to them uploading a 5 hour video every month or so and the daily uploads have made me miss those longer videos alot. Having so many daily uploads have made me miss those times when I would see a Alphard Gold notification. Then click it and saying to myself yep that's gonna be the whole afternoon and just leaving it to play in the background as I just live my day. You can't really do that with the daily uploads as well cause they're so much shorter.

Game: Literally has faces drawn on the shapes to make it playable for colourblind people. Alpha: If I'm colourblind I'm fucked. ... And also, you can just, tell from size? Although it's gonna be slightly hard with different shapes of similar size, or rather would be, without the faces. The one thing is that the sidebar guide could've had shapes drawn on it though.

I feel like that negotiation twist in the honeycomb game would, ironically, actually work a lot better in the real show if the honeycomb game had happened in a later episode. When the stakes are who lives and who dies and we’ve had time to get to know the characters and have them form bonds with each other the negotiation would be brutal with some people killing their entire group out of spite and others being willing to take a much greater risk for the others they know in their group. In the game show format it doesn’t really work as well because the stakes aren’t as high (which seems to sum up most of the reality show in general).

I definitely think the colours are too similar, specifically those two reds with each other and the orange with the orangy-pink. It baffles me why there's no blue or white. Blue I guess they didn't want to merge with the background, but like... The background is changeable and will overlap with one of the colours for most options. Edit: in fact it started off as purple BG with purple shape. They definitely could've had a light blue and a white instead of the second red/orange

The colors are based off of suika game in the web version (it's outdated). In the steam version all shapes have different colors now

I'm not defending the Squid Game Challenge show (even though I do enjoy it), it's not a really a game show. It's a social experiment. It's very clearly a social experiment under the guise of a game show. The point of it is see how people compromise their morals or character for a life changing amount of money. That's why there's such a focus on the things in-between the competitions. I think the marketing team dropped the ball hard on it. I also don't think the people that got on show were told properly to understood what they were signing up for. It should've have been advertised as a game show, but a social experiment with a cash prize. I also think that any of the controversy or finding the way the contestants were filmed and presented as being gross and unwatchable are valid.

Can we also highlight that Red Light, Green Light apparently took 8 hours to film in a warehouse in -2 Celsius, 28F. A contestant said they would be on red light for 45 or so minutes, I guess to 'kill off' the contestants and film different reactions. Apparently a good few people fainted, and paramedics were on scene. Real life squid game for real for real.

I think this needs a few extra features to really work: - low friction pieces (maybe friction can be randomized too or maybe just everything is low friction) so moving stuff around still works - either randomized initial rotation - or controllable initial rotation (it doesn't matter for circles but certainly for anything else) - maybe have shapes of constant diameter which can roll but aren't circles
