fr tho, by adjusting the stairs Big A removed two turns in his path (left-right) and instead let him go straight through keeping all his momentum from the bluetide, also feels like at the end, the stairs adjustment did matter saving maybe 500ms-1s in his final time all this is based on the presumption that diagonal movement is slower than forward movement in teardown
