Smartest shots? Probably the Federer angled backhand or no looks. They're actually creative and very instinctive unlike the fake smash. He doesn't have time to think, then bring out a tired cliche. He uses the racquet head in unconventional ways at a split second notice. He's so comfortable with a racquet head, he didn't need to pre prepare. I like that you included Kyrios too, he's wrongly called and idiot. His court craft is beautiful at times, as well as fun and creative. I have to ask though, where are Murrays topspin lobs? His court craft is exceptional. I'd have this in place of the silly smash trick, which gets a laugh. Creative and smart should get a gasp followed by applause. And a 'you got to be kidding me' Some good stuff though, but some ominous omissions.

I don't understand why some of these shots are included like Nadal 1:07 Kyrgios 3:25. You see shots like this all the time. The "no-look" I guess is the reason on the Kyrgios shot, but he could do that because it wasn't a very challenging shot.

@@BrandonSG13 The point is that these shots are just regular shots when a player reaches a drop shot. And reaching a drop shot is a pretty often thing in tennis.
@raghavgopinath69234 жыл бұрын
In that case the same can be said for federer's shot at 4:13. Or the shot at 1:43.The point is that in all these cases the way in which the bat was position, combined with unique faking motion, although the nadal and federer ones are very similar(only difference is whether it was a forehand or backhand), are what seperate these from other regular dropshot returns. The split-second exaggeration to force the opponent one way and then the use a different wrist motion.
