WTF man where are you from!!!???? obviously not NYC.you must be a newjack tourist. This shit on canal street has been going on since the 1980s!! cops used to always bust them and close their shops and take all of their merchandise. Now they have street peddlers out to sell the stuff while the big expensive items are hidden somewhere.

To be fair, those Chinese ladies have the best quality merchandise. I bought a Hermes belt, a Gucci belt, and a Birkin bag and they are real leather. The African guys have the inferior quality merchandise. What you did, pitting one merchant against the was not only rude but incredibly dangerous. Never deal with more than one merchant at a time.

The good stuff is NOT on Canal St. It’s hidden in the “off streets” or in a basement. The Asian woman is correct. She was most likely telling you not to waste your money on crap and taking you to better quality items. The items on Canal street are very low quality so if it gets confiscated, they don’t care.

You understand that these people have to move fast, right? What you're doing is illegal. She can't just stand on the street waiting around for you to dick around with another illegal vendor, it looked sus af and you did nothing but call more attention to yourself, that's why she was getting pushy. Undercovers are there constantly to crack down on this. You have no room to call her rude, you wasted her time 100%.

We also went to Times Square on the subway and I wanted to grab a couple things from a news stand, the vendor was like, $20 - I dropped everything on his counter and turned to my sister, “forget it let’s go to Duane Reade, this guy thinks I’m a tourist.” He goes, “oh fuck, ok, $8.50.” I said, that’s more like it and took my water and Red Bull and snacks. I used to escort people through the streets, to places they wanted to shop, similar to what you're doing. After serving three years as an army ranger in Vietnam, I returned home and struggled to find employment. That's when I began bodyguarding individuals who felt unsafe traversing New York's streets. I guided them through some dangerous areas they wished to visit. It was lucrative work, but it required constant vigilance, much like you must be vigilant now. Maybe cuz they ain't allowed to have a storefront and they got to be on the go all the time or they get busted maybe that's why and then it got other competition out there also well you can go in from one store to the next to the next and they selling all out not worrying about the police or whoever coming into this store and shutting them down That's the difference that's why you said they pushy

I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

The smile on her face at the end was worth it. Even though it might not be the best quality, women enjoy having items they can wear without the stress of messing them up. Plus, it will still remind her of this trip with you. Hopefully, they held up. It's been about 10 years, but i spent a lot of time in that city in the 90's 2000's and they weren't out on the street like that back then. You had to be in the "know" and it wasn't easy to find. The people and vibe has changed a lot. Canal was always the place to shop for deals, but it was different.
