I worked as a ride inspector for another park and Disney had the major problem of no real downtime so the rides dont get as thorough of inspections. at my park we closed for the winter and during those months all the rides cars were taken completely apart cleaned xrayed and assembled while other crews inspected the structure with man lifts and climbing the tracks

I worked QC at a roller coaster car manufacturer (one of the many things we made) and they’re safer than the car you get in every day. I do not trust Disney though at all. Busch Gardens, Six Flags, and Cedar Fair do a good job

I am a recognized reliability and maintenance expert recognized it all over in the business and RCM is a proven system and I doubt that the Disney company did this correct if they have this many problems … most companies do not do this correctly as it is very complex and detailed and redundant. A lot of companies think they do this but few actually do.
